That's not exactly what I have read in other accounts of the dream. In his dream, Lincoln is walking along and saw a procession of people sadly walking out of the white house all dressed in black. Lincoln asked one of the people, "who has died here?" The man replied, "the president."

Kind of on the dream. Lincoln said he asked the guard, "who is dead in the white house?" "The president. He was killed by an assassin." Lincoln later went on to say it wasn't him on the cataflaque. Lincoln also mentioned he had once again had his reoccurring dream, where he is standing on an "undescribable vessel" heading towards a distant, shapeless, dark shore that he cannot make out. He always had that dream before every major aspect of the war, like before the battles of Antietam and Gettysburg.

I went to that theater where he was assassinated it has artifacts the original door Booth entered pillow with blood stains that was placed on Lincoln’s head and the actual Gun Booth used to shoot Lincoln the clothes Lincoln wore when he was assassinated etc.

Jake I went to fords theater where he was shot and the pillow that was placed on his head after he was shot was one of the artifacts on display still has Lincoln’s blood stains 153 years later. Also the boot of John Wilkes Booth the original door to the box Lincoln was in that Booth entered and the actual gun Booth used to kill Lincoln can’t believe how small the gun is it can fit in your palm.

What a horrible nightmare, what makes it even more horrifying is that it came true. Perhaps God was trying to warn him. But was it a warning to try and save him, or was it a warning telling him to get his affairs in order to prepare for and accept the inevitability of fate?... we’ll probably never know... it will be a mystery to belong the ages... just like Lincoln.

He knew he was going to sacrifice his life for the sake of truth, justice and freedom for all... even before the dream. The dream just confirmed it. An honorable death, nevertheless. The people may likely speak negatively, no matter how just we may try to be.

Former President Abraham Lincoln will forever be the greatest president of USA. He failed at many businesses and works yet did not give up and became president of America. Had such a tragic end I miss him 😢😢😢

My dream was this I went from room to room no living person was in sight. I kept looking until I arivved at the east Room. *opens clothe*. *shocked pikachu face*.comedy goes on *laughing*. *Lincoln gets shot offscreen*. *screaming*. and that's the end of the Lincoln story.

And I'm declaring this dream as true. After the dream I woke up with a shocked Lincoln face.

Even the Looney Tunes cartoons got in on this, kinda'. I remember seeing a Foghorn Leghorn episode when he and *_Eggbert,_* the smart little Wizkid chicken, were playing hide and seek. LegHorn goes to hide in the toolshed. He pulls out a slide rule to figure out where he's hiding. After his calculations he goes to get a shovel. In the meantime Foghorn is cracking up knowing he's not going to find him with *_no_* slide rule. Eggbert shoves the shovel in the ground once and pops up Foghorn which mystifies the mess out of him. He's goes *_but...but boy, wait a minute, that can't be, I'm over there._* He goes to the toolshed and starts to open the lid up but stops abruptly and says *_No I better not. I just might be in there._* Whenever I see that episode I wait for that one line. It cracks me up everytime.

Carbon 10 he was already warned by his guard at the White House to not attend and a lot of people were worried because they knew he was a target when he was elected he got so many death threats. There was no secret service at the time. Lincoln believed that if somebody really wanted to kill him they would do it and there was nothing he can do to prevent it from happening.
