The 4D is an incredible camera, that too many people take for a gimmick camera. It's a beast !

For car mounting have you tried it with the flex head so only the gimbal section mounts on the hydra alien. I wonder about the vibrations that way. Thanks!!

I love the video, would you be able to put the camera with the lens in the case or you need to remove it? also, one of the pros I would also say is it's lidar senser focus system that lays out a top down view of what the camera sees and you can change the focus by just looking that that layout.

You don’t need to remove lens before putting in the case.

I'm moving from Photography into video and I am leaning heavily to the 4D, I am thinking that the 6k is more than sufficient as I will be doing primarily weddings and car videos with it. What do you suggest? Bite the bullet and just get the 8K and not have to upgrade anytime soon or do you think the 6K is more than sufficient?

Great content. If you were to buy a camera today, would you purchase an fx3, Canon R6 Mark 2, or Zv-e1 for vlog/podcast, doc content, or any other suggestions? I also like to take pictures on occasion.

Thanks for the comment! I think for vlog/podcast I'd probably buy the ZV-E1 considering its a baby FX3, I wouldn't buy Canon just because I've always used Sony and I don't wanna invest in Canon lenses and other accessories. FX3 I already had it so possibly not, However I'd actually like to get the new Pocket 3, just because how small yet good it is.

You can record on ssd with usbc port but only 4k

They do have the 8k now

Ronin 4D destroys every camera under $5000. Just wish the head was removable so you could have a small setup like the FX3

I’ll stick with my RS3, FX3 and VND. Light weight, nimble, studio quality colour science and can get all the same shots as the 4d really.
