Did I Do The Right Thing By Walking Away From Her?

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

How to know if walking away is the right move when the romance isn’t progressing like you want it to.
In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer who was seeing a woman from work. She was becoming increasingly difficult to get a date with and so he decided he needed to walk away and made a big deal about it. He shares his text exchange, which obviously communicates that he is butt-hurt, but he doesn’t notice his negative tone. He is questioning if he did the right thing by walking away. I go through his text exchange and explain what he should have done differently.
“When somebody cares about you and wants, values and appreciates your time, they make it easy to get together. When they don’t, they make it difficult to spend time together without being direct and telling you that they aren’t interested. You should match and mirror the actions of your romantic prospects. If they treat you like a priority you can reciprocate. If they treat you like an afterthought, a nuisance or like you mean nothing to them, then give them the gift of missing you, permanently if necessary. Never make someone a priority in your life when they treat you like an option.” ~ Coach Corey Wayne

Kimron Gilbert I had to do the same back in Nov. '22. Like Your ex, She treated me poorly, and I walked away. I took a bit of time to reflect, and found out that She was a borderline with a lot of narcissistic traits, and suffering from untreated CPTSD. I"ve learned a lot from the short time we were together, and have no regrets walking away when I did. I'm almost completely healed now feeling almost complete apathy towards her whenever she comes to mind.

@ghostccc8089 we got back together shortly afterwards and finally broke up Nov 22 after I found out she cheated on me. Stupid me I guess. Best thing to have happened to me as I focused on myself and have been having too many options since. Now with a woman who matches my values, from a great home, has her own business, traditional and treats me like her King. Lesson… Never take back someone who treats you like an option and find a queen who does not want attention from all the villagers 😂

@@chetwalther-ep9zb I’m in the same boat mate. Just ended a 2 year relationship. More and more came out over time. She had addiction issues with drink to begin with and then I later found out with the old white powder. I tried my best, went to AA meetings, stuck with her as unfortunately her mum passed and tried to look after her. I found out last week she got drunk with her friend and contacted her ex (who happened to be a drunk dealer) to come on over for a beer and bring the sniff. I had to walk. She wasn’t willing to change. She has an 8 year old son who in upstairs in bed while this is going on downstairs. It hurts like hell but there has to be a line drawn in the sand at some point. She will always answer my texts, maybe not right away but she does respond. Instead of questioning this behaviour, I have just decided not to pressure her or push her further away, so I’m removing myself yet again from her life without saying a thing. Hey I wrote you this e-mail. Yes, I’m the guy getting completely roasted here. That sounded cringe as fuck in hindsight especially with you reading it off like that. Why use the mocking tone though??? I don’t sound like that, although the text exchange was pretty embarrassing... It’s pretty obvious by what you and the comments (rough crowd) are saying that I was way off and I lost my cool and sounded needy and weak without even realizing it at the time 🤮 Anyways, I did cut off contact and was seeing other people for a bit, but we did eventually hook up again when I stopped constantly pursuing her like a maniac. I’m starting your book again... thanks for the reply.

@@gibrielmauro2266 I don’t take it personal sometimes it takes a 3rd party to realize how you are presenting yourself and coach knows his shit. Leading up to this debacle, I would do what he teaches in the book. We’d hang out, I’d make her laugh, we’d have fun, hook up every now and then. She’d pull back and I match. The problem recently is when she’d reach out after a few days (usually about something mundane), I would assume she wanted to see me, try to set a definite date, then either get flaked on the day of plans or get told some excuse as to why she couldn’t hang that night. When she’d make an excuse I’d tell her no biggie just hit me up when you figure out a good day on your schedule and I’d carry on about my business. Then she would do the same thing a few days later. This repeated a few times and I got a little frustrated. I guess I thought I was putting my foot down and telling her what I wanted with a takeaway, but unfortunately I came across as way too butthurt. I need to be like a mountain like coach says in the book.

If she wanted to hang she had to bring it up, which she did once and we had fun that night and I fucked her brains out one last time 👌🏼 Also, knowing how her ex was not completely out of her life, it should have been a dealbreaker for anything more than a lay every now and then. Should have told her: "no problem, I'll just hang with someone else, I understand you're busy" and got off the phone. That hard-wired preselection impulse kicks in and raises your value, the next text your going to get from her after she stews for a bit is "what are you up to tonight?" He already had pre-selection working for him in the first place at work, that's probably why she stuck around for so long.

For the years I’ve considered myself a 3%er, my rule has always been to ask someone out once. If they say “I’ll let ya know” then you have your answer and there is no need to ask them out a second time... Aside from the fact that they may be dating someone else when you first asked them out, asking them out a second time is just gonna give the same answer. If I went on a date with a girl and she says “I’ll let ya know”when I ask her for a 2nd date, why even bother asking her a 2nd time? Especially after saying for her to let you know once her schedule frees up? I’d love to get some fellow 3%er thoughts and perspectives on this matter

I’ve since grown to be happier healthier and more successful than I’ve been in years. Anyways, so many of these videos just scream beta 97% man such as the ones she’s been trying to fill the void with. We have children together so we still have to communicate. I’m always light hearted and teasing when around her. My self improvements are not lost on her as she comments when she sees me or sometimes when I post to social media she dm’s me to tease “trying to get buff for all them girls?” You know it babydoll ;) come get some when you get tired of being beaten to the finish line :P I harbor no ill feelings toward her or her endeavors with other men. Im focused on my career and my children and the world is taking notice daily. All thanks to “How to be a 3% man”. I’m certainly not finished with my readings of my copy but I am damn excited to continue to absorb the philosophy and apply it to life in order to reap the rewards of this what can only be described as bible, to me anyways. Haha cheers fellas

Before, she showed many sings of interest to me that she didn't show to other people. Recently though, she has stopped initiating conversation/talk and showed less physical signs. She is one of my friends but I thought that she had viewed me as more than that. I don't know what to do. Better Keep these thoughts to yourself ... A guy should be busy minding his things and life or seeing new people enjoying his fun bus really.. When a guy really like one person, guys tend to throw "The Black Board" out of the window and start to think he owns a woman "Locking her Down". Bad way to go... Always Remember 3 H and always walk slower than the woman. Once you asked her out, she knows you like her and did your part. Let her hit the tennis ball back... "No shouting" just chilling doing nothing (towards her) with a James' smirk... Let her come to you... If you remember the Chapter "Kitty cat comes and goes progressing each time... Don't get butt hurted.. it's the way women are... Eventually she will give in... because in deep down she knows there's no other guy like us.. "3% men are once in a lifetime chance" I am also from the medical industry so I get why he's acting that way... Work is life huh at least on our side of the world .so you are seeing almost every freaking day and after work you are just totally flat out... We don't go to sleep we do fall asleep.. Attending patients after patients and after work the last thing you want to do is "talk"... xD Read the book till you don't have to think about it and principles become who you are... It will show up in other areas of your life. You will become more assertive yet calm... Relax and chill... Be Awesome... It's your birth Right..

The bad part is we were both drinking and that's where things got foggy. She got mad that i confronted her about it and it makes no sense since i know she would flip out if i did the same.
