He did not deserve to be booed. If Pavlos and Thanasis Giannakopoulos were alive, there wouldn't be a chance that a player of that caliber, whose dream was to play in Panathinaikos since he was a child, would be treated this way by the fans. The "fans". Well, the last ~10 years have been disastrous for the football club. The result was that many football fans, who didn't have a clue about basketball, couldn't stand going to football games anymore so they started coming to OAKA. That was the majority of the "booers". These braindead persons with foul behaviour are no more than a disgrace to all the rest Panathinaikos fans and the team's history. But there's way more to Hezonja's case. After his step down, Dimitris Giannakopoulos (in a way) declared a war against Gate 13. Because of that, it is said that he gave the orders to the people who run the team that Hezonja would not stay. Maybe not that directly, but due to the balance sheet, he would have to stay with way less money, plus HE would have to take care of the Barcelona clause, not Panathinaikos, forcing the player to leave. And the reason? Hezonja was the favourite player of Gate 13. Dimitris Giannakopoulos's evil masterplan was to bring chaos and win a battle on a personal war. Behind the back of our team. If you do a journalist research, you will find many many things, and people deserve to know the truth. The last few years of Panathinaikos are similar to the "House Of Cards".

Funny how front office of Panathanaikos put blame on Mario, even though they were waiting until last second without presenting him contract. Were they thinking Mario would sign for less of the money due to his love for club since childhood? One can stipulate that front office could cut some percentage of their salary and made it possible to sign Mario.Obviously both scenarios are ridiculous in morn era of professional sports.

Hi guyz nice episode ... i dont know about this gossips of panos el gato about dpg maybe its true, but you cant express an opinion for people that passed away like P and T only braindead persons could do this ... To clarify more im a fan of mario gameplay/player but not fan of mario as person/player (very impulsive, not so honest or he quickly forget) Im thinking that ok you wasnt on that room for that kind of stories but how can you believe a story from a guy that twiting i will stay, i love, i ,i ,i, i and i will not play at oaka ... Some of the fans are still like him as a person (maybe g13) and im sure more than the half would welcome him back, but they deserve to booed him because his approach wasnt so honest as he twiting around or he is scared to tell people what was the true situation ... or felt ashamed and didnt want to tell more ... Dont forget that back in summer his agent wasnt so honest too with the team. Anyway mario could have sign at pao or come again but for sure he will not have the same love and appreciation.
