I really like how you can see Tommys personality seep into thev video along with the colour 😀 When it comes to covers I more see it as a win win situation. The artist that does covers has the opportunity to go outside their genre and test out a variety of things and also to add their flavor to the songs they know and love and in that way become a part of its legacy wich is so cool. Also the artists suddenly reached audiences they would ever have otherwise ..and those people get introduced to new genres along the way (I did not listen to power metal before stumbeling upon Tommy) The songs and the orginal artists are always the original and holds that primordial creative spark of genius that can never be taken away. The covers makes the song available for new audiences that would never have come across it otherwise or ,if tweek och bent into another genre, that speaks more to an audience that it would otherwise never have been suited for. Old song get renewed and find audienses in new age categories and the songs are saved from being forgotten. The songsc, in a way, takes on a live on its own and become immortal. The audiendes, on the other hand, gets to hear fantastic songs from an artist they really like and see how his/hers voice and style or creativeness lends itself to it I often say that any genre not covered by Tommy is missing out ..I suspect Vasc Nation have the same feeling when it comes to Dans covers 😀

I’m team Tommy. I got Tommified from the get go. He and Dan are different with their voices but equally talented. Dan is colder (he referred to us old lady fans as “blue haired land whales”) and Tommy seems nicer. Of course, I don’t know either of them personally. 🤷‍♀️

If Team Tommy wasn’t used already I would have suggested “The Tommystrucked”.

This was wonderful. But my fave is not Tommy or Freddy but Dan vasc he does it better than anyone. Dan can sing anything. And he does.❤❤ Mary b. Thank you for loving us people.

NO ONE does it better than Freddie! I'm Team Tommy, but to claim he's better than Freddie would be ridiculous! I respect Dan's version is your favourite, that's personal, but definitely not better than the original

The color change was my favorite subtle thing, and my fave part was 9 Tommys headbanging at the same time. I'd actually like to see Tommy cover Elvis, but I'm not sure which song would work the best. As Elvis fans, what do you think?

For me, it's not a question of one being better than the other. Both singers are very talented, but with different voices and timbres. The rest is a matter of taste. Personally, I prefer Tommy's voice, his range moves me more. As well as having a fantastic voice, he's an extremely talented guitarist who can also play piano, drums, flute and accordion. He's a very complete musician, which makes him exceptional.

Of course, I like Dan a lot, he's an exceptional singer, but Tommy's voice gives me more emotion, I'm more sensitive to it. It's a bit like falling in love: why this man and not that one.

@@PurpleMetal-je1zv I enjoy many singers, Tommy included. Dan and Tommy, both have beautiful voices and amazing vocal ranges. Like I said earlier, I’m referring to their videos themselves. Dans video, in my opinion was far more enjoyable to watch, it was like a tribute to Queen and not just a cover. I apologize if I gave you the impression that I didn’t like Tommy’s voice, I certainly do. It’s just that when it comes to their videos, I feel that Dan does a better job, and he’s much more entertaining to watch.

OK Shirley no problem, I understand your love for Dan. As for the video, I prefer Tommy's, because not only do I love hearing him sing, but I really appreciate all his instrumental composition. As a guitarist myself, it's a real treat to see his fingers glide over the neck of his guitar. Enjoy listening to your beloved SINGER. 😊
