I'm glad you talked about Tommys guitar work here! That skill is sometimes overlooked in reaction videos. Tommys dayjob is being one of two guitarists in Sabaton. So he's primarily a guitarist not a singer. But he excels at everything!

My take on Tommy (as a musician myself) is that he has a unique skill of arranging music - he could, if he wanted to, be a great composer, too!

Amazing reaction as always. That's what Tommy always does, make a song his own, without loosing the essence of the original. He has a way of making every cover sound as it was written for him, often upgrading the song, or making a massive justice to the original, like here. I hope you'll check out his cover of Basket Case by Green Day, one of his best covers imo

I see Floor in the background, which is not really such a coincidence as Tommy did all the arrangements and productions for Floor’s covers during Lockdown. I wish Floor and Tommy could do a duet together, I’m sure it would be sensational!

Maybe no more covers are needed, but that doesn't mean someone couldn't come along and reimagine this, like Angelina Jordan did, and have it sound incredible.

Where was the gong at the end? Growing up with the original I have to say there was something missing, certain inflections or emotional quality. Freddie made it look soooo effortless.

In my opinion, this is one of Tommy's "misses". Usually, he manages to improve, or at least power-metalize, the song, but in this nothing really is added. Maybe the problem is just in the song selection... what could really be added to perfection?

Tommy is good but do not limit anyone else doing this song. Try Dan Vasc rendition of this song.❤
