This melancholic music plays at the end of the gameplay version of this game in the fight scene when the Ghotst Of Tsushima Jin and his uncle lord Shimura fight because of this treachery, Jin killing his uncle. I''ve watched the gameplay version of this game a few times, the death of Ghotst of Tsushima''s most loyal horse and partner Sora, and the fight scene between Ghotst Of Tsushima and his uncle''s fight are the most dramatic moments of this game 😮😮😮😮

For me this is the best game ive ever played. Character development, story, music, cinematography (if this is even a word) everything is on point. I didnt see the last fight coming untill it begun. Just wonderful, the song in the creditszene with the singing is also just nuts

If you want equally as good stories in games i recommend balgur's gate 3. Some older ones like mass effect and dragon age also hold up. These games are literally branded on my mind.

I bought a PS4 specifically to play anthem and ghoost of tsushima. I do not regret my choice. Ghost of Tsushima was lotterally like playing an old samurai movie. I regret its a ps4 exclusive because i miss that game.

This song is during the climatic duel between his past as an honorable Samurai and his future as a Ninja, the Ghost of Tsushima. The game is a masterclass in story telling and artistic video gaming. It received a combined 40/40 score from four editors of the Japanese video game magazine Famitsu, the third Western-developed game to do so. It also received praise from Toshihiro Nagoshi, the director of the Yakuza series, who applauded Jin as the game's protagonist, adding that Japanese studios were unlikely to greenlight a game starring a middle-aged man due to marketing reasons. Fox and Connell were named as tourism ambassadors to Tsushima Island in March 2021 for spreading "the name and history of Tsushima through their works". The game is planned to come to PC end of this year or early next year. Highly recommend you check it out.

The instrument is called a shakuhashi! It is a japanese wooden flute that has a very distinct sound and is one of the sounds we most assimilate to japanese media. Edit: the drums are probably taikō, that are these enormous drums that usually people play in unison with really strong beats. You see them a lot at cultural festivals associated with Japan as well

There was SO much resonance that's why it distracted me from thinking Taiko in the start, but that makes sense that it would be that

Mind you this is still Jin's theme, I love the storytelling in the character pieces of the ost. Jin's theme changes multiple times throughout the game to show his emotional state in context to the story as well his progress from samurai to the ghost (almost a ninja, very dishonorable to the samurai) keeping the main theme of the first Jin piece all the way to the final one. So sacrifice of tradition is truly the climax of the battle between the samurai and ghost sides of Jin when he finally discards the samurai part, thus sacrificing tradition.

This game is truly just Beautiful to play and watch, the moment where you were talking about the Gong in specific plays at a crucial moment where you make a final decision at the end of the game and its very emotional. But again this game is truly beautiful to play and watch and even the opening scene in the game does an amazing job with a mixture of music and somewhat controlled cinematics. Highly recommend this game especially if you can play on PS5

It’s actually heavily inspired by Kurosawa movie soundtracks. There are several instances in the tracks where they are directly taken from the films it was inspired by! It’s super neat to play this game and watch some of the films afterwards!

This soundtrack is really underrated imo. Another of the best tracks is Forged in Blood by Bill Hemstapat. It plays in the co-op mode "Legends" so there isn't much lore to talk about, its just a cool song for some boss waves.

I called my mom. She read your comment and was confused because it's written so poorly. 🤷‍♂Sorry bro... This is what she said on the phone about your comment "Once upon a keyboard, in the wild and chaotic realms of the internet, a brave soul embarked on a perilous quest to leave a comment. Armed only with the unpredictable weapon of their keyboard, they valiantly mashed keys with reckless abandon. Alas, what emerged on the screen resembled more of a linguistic rollercoaster than a coherent thought. Commas and periods were cast aside like forgotten relics, and the poor spell-checker gasped for breath. Witnesses to this word play calamity scratched their heads, attempting to decode the cryptic message. It seemed as if a grammatical tornado had swept through, leaving behind only the wreckage of misplaced modifiers and dangling participles. The comment section became a linguistic battlefield, where even the most seasoned grammar warriors quivered in confusion, trying to decipher the enigma that was that comment. And so, the legend of the indecipherable comment lived on, a cautionary tale for the grammatically challenged in the vast expanse of the digital wilderness." Dunno...

Id say its more similar to Arkham series or maybe the AC games. Its strongest point gameplay wise is the direct combat with multiple enemies, but you have the option to go stealth. The stealth part isn't as fleshed out as the combat though, but its serviceable. However, the strongest point of this game are the visuals, music and characters. Specially Jin.
