I have a 2023 model. 3.3AWD sport prestige. Wish I could get that leather wrapped horn cover and new badges. Those are the only big changes I wish I could have. Also, they have those front seats wayy too far back. Even with a 6 foot man sitting in my passenger seat, there is alot more room than what is shown in this video. Don't get me wrong, legroom back there isn't great, but what is shown in this video is not realistic at all

I love Genesis line I’ve owned Hyundia for a long time and never had a problem with them . Very reliable and you get a lot for the money

I like the first gen look. The drl look so good at night and the body lines on the side looks better. This look nice too. They should make a coupe. Also use the k900 or cadenza 5.0 engine. The pricing ain’t to far from a 392 charger so the power would be nice.

Great collaboration, enjoyed the updated. I own a Kia Stinger GT2 AWD that is a blast and great value. Too bad Kia discontinued the Stinger. 😐

They were cool but nobody bought them. It was basically the same price as an Acura tlx but had less power, were not as reliability and the interior was not as nice.

@@Inferno45I can agree with you but everything else but not as much power as a TLX? The 3.3t gt has 368 hp that’s more than the tlx type s with 355 it smokes it in a race literally not to mention 50k would get you the fully loaded gt2 while a type s is in the mid 50k range

Probably be a good ideal for them to improve the dismal mechanical dependability on their bread and butter brands, way better looking car than anything BMW is currently building!

I almost purchased a 2023 Genesis G70 3.3T Sport Prestige in Seville Silver with the Sevilla Red interior! GORGEOUS car inside abd out! I currently own a 2016 Honda Accord EX-L V6 Coupe White Orchid pearl the the tab abd black leather interior and i love it! The reason i didn't buy the G70 was first off my Accord Coupe had a smoother ride and was wider and had more space in the front to stretch my legs while driving. The G70 felt very narrow in the driver's seat. And the ride was stiffer. My ACCORD V6 couoe had a lot more room in the back and its a 2 door. The Turbo 6 was faster than my Accord V6 but the Honda Engine sounds way better and gets 34 on the highway. The g70 couldn't touch 26! Its thirsty. I do all my maintenance on my honda and Genesis doesn't make it easy to maintain. All those reasons plus having my car paid for vs a 54k price tag and i was out! Pkus my honda was worth 17,500$ at carmax which means it retained a ton of its value over its life and Genesis vehicles like hyundai and kias cakue drip like a boat anchor! It just wasnt a snart move! But the car was very very cool!

I am interested in the G70 Hybrid that almost made production. G70 Hybrid is my next car not fully electric.

Really like the exterior and interior of the G70, but after hopping in a 23 TLX Type S right after, I preferred driving the Acura. As far as backseat space, the TLX wasn't much better despite having a mid sized exterior.

Looking at dealerships lots that have NEW 23, 24, and 25 G70's on their lots. Been seeing discounts of 7 thousand bucks on the 23's

They are most likely still better built than the 3 Series, although BMW has stepped up the quality significantly. Not hard to do considering,,, 😂😂. Roman hit the nail on the head,,, you can’t beat the sound of the straight (or inline) 6 cylinder!! BMW has that pretty much perfected!! (The RAM Hurricane straight 6 is showing hints of BMW and an aftermarket exhaust will embrace that!! Nice substitute for the V8 sounds) Roman, you are being hard on yourself, you’re better than you portrayed. You are definitely a very big guy, so not a lot of vehicles, except full size vehicles fit you. It’s kinda fun seeing you trying to make the vehicle fit!! 😂😂😂. Alex!! You are so knowledgeable but very approachable as well. It’s a refreshing change to the TFL team. I subbed to your channel today!! Thanks fellas, eh!

Love Alex's details and the TFL guys, too... one of these day's I hope Alex eventually finds a brother from another mother for his channel, too. 🤪 So I DO NOT mean to sound mean at all (really)... but the last three co-reviews on Alex on Autos/Auto Buyers Guide are just not up to "Alex Standards" in my humble opinion. Hope that makes sense... to me every Walt Disney needs his Roy (if that makes sense). For example for TFL... if Andrea, or Tommy or any of the TFL guys make a video... I know that I can watch it with equal interest and quality (they are having fun and their love for cars oozes through the screen). 😎Just like I do love Roman, but I'm so thankful for Tommy who actually reads the manual to counter/compliment Roman when he complains about something that doesn't work (that actually does or would work if the manual had been looked at for more than half ½ second) ha ha 😇 So just for me... I do hope Alex eventually finds his TFL team or "Buddy" where you can tell they are buddies. Again like Clarkson w/Richard Hammond/James May; or Thomas & James... because he deserves to have bro. I've seriously never watched or read an Alex done article or video on The Truth About Cars (earlier days), Alex On Autos, then Auto Buyers Guide that I did not think was right on the money from when I used to travel with hundreds of car rentals for a week of business presenting at conventions as the Operations or Executive Director. I'm serious every time I'd watch an Alex video he would notice every single lil' thing that I would also notice after a week with a rental vehicle... or also the 35 vehicles that I've been blessed to own over 55 years now, too (revealing my young age). ha ha 🤓 So I have THE highest RESPECT and ADMIRATION for Alex and the TFL team, too.

I hate to say it, but the Genesis aesthetics are getting a little stale. They need to do a complete redesign, especially in the rear if they want to be competitive. Toyota, Mercedes and even their sister company KIA are all making moves. It’s time for Genesis too.

I think the original G70 is a vastly better-looking car. I don't care for this bubble, hawk-faced styling up front. I'm baffled by the complete lack of rear legroom. Every smaller Hyundai/Kia vehicle right down to the Venue and Rio have more rear legroom.

@2:30 I'm pretty sure the Stinger had Brembo brakes. Maybe as an option if not standard. If you're a tall driver forget about anybody sitting behind you. A child seat perhaps, but that's it. Definitely not a family car.

Guys guys guys when you explain where Genesis fits into the luxury line up Please stop lumping bmw or Mercedes in with Lexus or Acura,, that is so Just Wrong. Genesis is exactly like Lexus, Acura, Infinity, because they're off shoots of a parent company , Clearly not the case with the German companies 😒

It's got more of a Ford Fusion / Jaguar front end grille. Those back seats are unusable. Kind of ridiculous. Again, spending $60k for a Genesis. Yikes. Lots of coin for such a small vehicle, as those back seats are truly unusable for an adult. Great video.
