On paper, Gabriel still won more compared to the heroes. Again, EVERYONE lost, but Gabriel still defeated the heroes. And he achieved his new objective that he made during the last 2 minutes of his life. So...sure, he technically still won. Technically. However way you slice it, the Gabriel Agreste arc dragged on for too long and was needlessly complicated. The best scenario is that my dream theory is true XD Otherwise, i have little hope that the writers will acknowledge their Star-Vs-The-Forces-of- Evil-sized oopsie and will just continue like everything is a-ok. This show has great potential and an awesome premise, it just was handled so very poorly.

Honestly, there is only one way to save this show... break the main couple up and make Adrian the show’s next big bad. I consider myself to be a young writer (I am writing a new screenplay at the moment for HGM Productions) so, here is how I would fix Season’s 6 arc. We open with a flashback, thus showing us the conversation between Ladybug/ Mari and Adrian. She tells him how his father sacrificed his own life for everyone and told her to tell him that he loved him so much and only ever wanted the best for his son. Super: Start of the School year. We cut to Mari sunbathing in her tanning bed with Alya, discussing the following years events and how Gabriel was Hawkmoth. Alya asks Mari how Adrian reacted when she told him the truth about his father? Only for Mari to realise the time and transform into Ladybug. (She is running late for her superhero patrol with Chat Noir). We cut to Adrian, waiting for Ladybug at the Eiffel Tower, holding a yellow rose, and staring at the twin rings. Mari enters the scene, Adrian congratulates her in her defeat over Monarch, handing her the rose. He looks satisfied. Mari sighs, apologising to Chat for not telling him the truth sooner, wishing she would of kept him in the loop more, and had trusted him in the past. Adrian making a confused face lowers the rose. Mari promises him no more secrets, she reveals Monarch’s identity. Adrian’s confusion morphs to anger, as Ladybug’s voice starts to drift away, anger consuming Adrian’s entire body now. How could his partner betray him like this?!

It feels so out of character for him to go that far He'd more than likely willingly accept an Akuma just to disconnect from his newfound betrayal until Marinette manages to tell him the truth She never WANTED to hurt him or Adrien, she was still trying to handle and process the situation herself and wanted to give Adrien and Chat Noir their own versions of the story so she could try and find a better way to admit the truth to him, this would at first be a failure until she reveals herself as Marinette, the girl Adrien loves more than just about anything else, she willingly admits she regrets lying and wishes she could take it back but knows she will need to do far more than just telling the truth, she acknowledges that her deceit should not go unpunished, she willingly gives herself up to Adrien, Adrien is at first unphased and goes for the kill but stops because his love for Marinette arises within the sea of hatred and anger that gives him the strength to fight back, Adrien cannot forgive Marinette but he knows she doesn't deserve to be killed, Adrien resists the Akuma and Lila loses control, Adrien coldly explains that he wishes to break up with Marinette and she accepts his break up request despite her heartbreak, they both go their separate ways and remain separated for the entirety of the season with their only short interactions occurring when another akuma arises and Lila attempts to attack them in civilian form. This is basically my own personal thought on a identity reveal but it makes sense with Adrien's character, he would NEVER kill the girl he loves even if she lied to him, he would rather never see her again than mercilessly murder her in cold blood, how and if they'd get back together? No idea but I would love to see if anybody else has any other ideas to continue this lil premise I have constructed

@@Archiver_Studio Again, Adrian’s POV matters here, Ladybug told him how his dad had saved the people of Paris, he then finds out that he was not only lied to by Ladybug, but by his loyal partner, so naturally he would get mad (his Season 4 arc), Ladybug not knowing WHO he is tries to comfort him, but finds that he is fuelled with rage and cannot be so easily calmed down. He would then go home to unpack his emotions, only to find that it is all too much for him, as he breaks out in heavy fits of anger! (This is when he would realise Plagg was also there during the fight and confront him about what happened that day? Plagg would then tell him the truth, confessing that his father wanted the miraculous to bring his mother back to life)? I agree, that Adrian would never turn into a psycho like his father, but him turning into the show’s next big bad can still work if and only if it is handled carefully. Let’s say Adrian comes back to school and throughout the school year, he becomes more and more isolated and alone. Like… Mari and Alya they know each other’s identity and Nino knowing Alya’s makes him feel like he needs to be there to protect her. Sure Nino told Adrian about him and Alya being superheroes, but he does not know that Adrian is Chat Noir, thus making him feel he must leave him behind for his own safety. At first Adrian would not mind this as it would give him a place to hide and transform, in time however, I believe he would grow tired of it, but would have trouble trusting Nino with his secret identity? Plus we all know that Nino cannot keep a secret to save his life. As for Lila, I would say that she would try to “befriend” Mari as Iris and use what she has learned about Mari to her advantage including, conversations about sentimonsters and quite possibly the twin rings. Curious she follows Adrian all day from a far. At the end of a school day Adrian is in the Library looking for a science book, Iris “wanting” to help him look finds and hands the book over to him (this is when she studies the rings). Adrian thanking Iris shakes her hand, wishing her good day, before grabbing his backpack, and leaving for home. Sorry for the long comment, I just love writing!😊📝

Yeah, season 5 of Miraculous didn't make any sense to me and I kind of forgot about what was happening because I was more focused on watching Murder Drones. If you are tired of Miraculous then you can always watch Murder Drones. I think you will love the show and the plot with the secret details that you have to pause to see. The show is about cute little robots that murder each other for reasons. The main focus is on the Absolute Solver, Cyn who is part of the cause of it, Nori, Yeva, Uzi, V, Alice, Doll, Possibly J, Tessa, and N. The reason why I mentioned N is because he is the nicest character who would sacrifice his life for everyone and would always be nice to them even if they treated him wrong. Soon he will start to break down when episodes 7 and 8 will be released in Spring.

The fact that Gabriel decided not to revive Emily at the last minute and wished to be remembered as a hero instead is so ridiculous to me. He re-created the universe just to escape punishment. I can't believe the show decided to end the world and act like everything was fine.

This was hinted before and I believe it was always the plan to get a new hawkmoth. In timetagger the villain revealed that Gabriel wasn’t the future hawkmoth but he never said whether Gabriel won or not. At the end it was hinted to be Lyla being the next hawkmoth so now we now that Gabriel won in a way. Yes he got the miraculous to make his wish but now we don’t know what his wish is now due to him dying, it could have been anything. By season 4 Gabriel changed his mind on what his wish was, from wanting to get his wife back to creating a new world /destroying the old one.

Even if he didn’t make the wish he exactly wanted, he still changed his wish and made the wish on HIS terms

As for someone who use to watch the show, I expected for season 5 to be everything at its best, but that’s not how I view it. For me, season 5 started off strong, but then dragged it on and wasted it’s time on useless plot lines and created more plot holes and retcons, all of that leading up to what we can all confirm, is the worst season finale to date, coming from the worst season of the entire series. And this was after an amazing season 4 finale, because it set up Cat Noir and Ladybug working together to defeat Hawk Moth once and for all. But they didn’t do it. If there was to be a reboot, i think that maybe me and the Artistic Aloubell should be the show’s main writers.

The Agreste arc should've lasted 2, 3 seasons at most. Season 1 was mainly filler and season 5 kinda felt like it was dragging it's feet at times. Plus they pretty much ignored Gabriel as a toxic father and gaslit Adrien into believing he was a good one.

Exactly. Like season two could have ended with Gabriel getting revealed to be Hawkmoth, Adrien having Natalie as legal guardian, the butterfly miraculous being used for evil. And the season three to five could have been a new arc about the guardians.

Make season 5 (omitting season 4 and becoming season 3) the next season with Gabriel making a power play. Of course, this is just in terms of rhe arc, not taking into account writing issues (Adrien and Felix's rushed origins, Gabriel being a toxic dad, Marinette having 80% of the show's screentime/releveance, 19 miraculous instead of the core 7, Chloe's botched redemption and Zoe just being Astruc's way of telling us Chloe would never be redeemed, Marinette and Adrien's token best friends with ni real development, etc.)

@@BlueBlazeKing I wasn't big on season 1 since it became very repetitive and tiresome, with no one but Marinette really given development or screentime, despite the constant claims that the cat miraculous is equal to the ladybug miraculous in terms of power and importance. CN was more a sidekick, which was a bad way to set the status quo, imo.

Chloe is the only Winner, she got out of an environment she didn't want to be in, gets a clean slate in a new country, and gets to be away from the one person she hates most in the world. She doesn't have to worry about akumaization, or deal with the consequences of her actions.

It's so obvious, you can tell Hawkmoth was supposed to be finished and defeated in season two but the writers realized they have no plan for after hawkmoth. No hawkmoth means no lazy generic formula so they let him escape and we get the degenerate season 3

@@kingofflames738 Technically, I don't believe he rewrote the natural laws of good and evil, meaning he will still be punished for his crimes in his original life It's kinda like, if I travelled through time and reworked a past event where I became a killer, if I changed that even I would still technically be that killer, I just stopped the event from happening in my own past but it still occurred in my present memories unless the past really does alter the future permanently

Literally the only way to fix this is to have his "heroic sacrifice" being exposed as a lie early, and having everyone, ESPECIALLY Adrien, feel betrayed and lied to. But let's be honest, the show will probably turn around and say Adrien is in the wrong for feeling understandably angry that his "heroic father" was a monster and his girlfriend knowingly kept the truth a secret. Then he'll be the one to apologize even if he was the biggest victim in the situation, and the show will continue like nothing happened. 😮‍💨

🐉 Whichever way you interpret the ending, it's still a super frustrating way to wrap up an 8-year, 5-season arc that doesn't feel at all earned or satisfying, and the implication that the villain getting what he wanted ultimately didn't affect the main characters all that much still makes everything that came before it feel like a waste of time. Overall, I have to agree. No winner here. Not even the audience. 🫠 With that out of the way, let me just gush about HOW BEAUTIFULLY YOU DREW MY OC!! Nobody won in this Finale. Luka was permanently sidelined, no closure was given to the Tsurugi plotline, Felix and Kagami took no part in the battle despite having been the ones to warn Marinette of Monarch’s identity, Adrien didn’t do anything and was lied to by everyone around him, Marinette was dumb enough to trust Gabriel with the Miraculouses, etc. I could go on about how terrible this Finale was and how it somehow managed to give unsatisfying endings to pretty much every major plot it addressed while leaving most others out to dry. The thing that disgusted me the most was how Marinette blatantly lies to Adrien about Monarch’s identity after Gabriel legit trapped Adrien in a facility to use him as breeding stock. Adrien thinks that Gabriel is a hero and he never even gets told that he’s a Sentimonster by Marinette (or Felix, his Sentimonster cousin, or Kagami, his Sentimonster friend). Everyone lies to Adrien, from his girlfriend to Nathalie to his Aunt Amelie to Felix to Kagami. Everyone lies. Even Plagg lies to him. And somehow this is treated as “the right thing to do”.

If Gabriel did win, then he would be up there with the Utrom Shredder in “villains that won”, specifically the episode “Same as It Never Was” of TMNT 2003 where there was a timeline where Shredder actually won and took over the world and the Utrom home world. 🐉

I don’t know if my first comment made it through, but I’ll try to retype what I said before 😅. MLB to me at this point is just a fever dream. The only thing I have liked so far that came out was the ShadyBug and Claw Noir special. That’s the only one. I get more interested in rewrites (wink wink) and original works with the same premise (Zoe-oneesama’s Scarlet Lady, Callimara’s WildWard web series, and j.v_draws’s Miraculous Brazil comic) than the og show because nothing is happening. They need to do more with Chat Noir/ Adrien he is literally in the title. I am tired of Mari being like “Ah woe is me I have so much to burden with being the guardian blah blah BLAH” I’m so sick and tired of it when Chat Noir is right THERE! TO HELP YOU WITH THE BURDEN! And let’s not even start with Gabriel. He could have been a much better villain than what he is or I guess now was. Everything he does is so backwards it honestly hurts at this point. I am kinda glad he won’t be the main villain anymore, but I am glad that Lila (not calling her the dumb new name) got the butterfly miraculous since to me she can be a more competent villain. I honestly don’t see what they could possibly do for two more seasons. I just don’t 🙃

Very VERY valid and fair points. And very true. The show didn't need to drag on as much as it did. At least with the Gabe arc. If they wanted multiple big baddies, they should have gone the Sailor Moon route and had Gabe be the baddie for like...2 seasons, and then went on to a different bad guy. Not give Gabe 5 seasons and Lila 2. It's so off-balance and seems like it wasn't planned 😭

Great video! After hearing this, I'm a little more hopeful for Season 6. I still don't like how Gabriel was celebrated at the end, but between that and the dirt Lila has on him it's obvious that it's leading to an important arc later on, so I'm willing to reserve my thoughts for then. Until then, Happy Lunar New Year 🐉

Just a headcannon here: If I were the one writing the show, I would have made a twist in which Emilie was worse than Gabriel. While she was dying, she would manipulate Gabriel’s emotions. So when she did die, Gab would think that it was his fault for Emilie’s death and believed that Adrien would have had a better life if he was with his mother. And since nobody was able to tell him the truth and/or was manipulated. He decides to sacrifice himself using the two miraculous, the miraculous of creation and the miraculous of destruction (calling it the ladybug and black cat is sort of dumb in my opinion since there’s not a lot of reasons why those animals were chosen in the first place. And all of this will take place in the end of season 3). But, when the wish was made, everything goes back to the beginning of season 1 (before their miraculous), and Adrien is actually very miserable with Emilie since she constantly profits off of his success as a model making him work tirelessly and wants to just leave his home life, so he sneaks out, and goes to school. And this is where the rest of the story will commence. I also wanted Emilie to be a more threatening villian than Gab and is only becoming a villain because she’s a sociopath and she wants to have everyone under her control (basically). But our main hero’s stop her, so she views them as a threat. *That’s all I have to say about the plot. This was a little excuse to add in some of my own fanfic of the show into the comments.

Like season 5 was the season with an actual storie but the problem with season 5 ( Apart from the fact that Adrien wasn't the one who defeated his abuser, what doesn't make any sense but coming from the Miraculous writers they don't know what a "character arc" is, the biggest example of that is clhoe) It's just that everything was in a hurry, like the love square, everything, and that's due to the fact that in all the other seasons they just wanted money and didn't think about writing a decent story and they just delayed everything

I don't really know if he want or not I'm still confused about the ending and then the writers have to come out on Twitter and tell us if it was Emily or amily at the end it's just all a hot mess And then there's the fact that there are people who saw the original script where it was Emily we still don't know why Natalie is alive maybe her sickness got transferred to someone else And then at the end it did seem like everyone was living in a reality that felt too perfect I wouldn't be shocked if the next villain also won so they could undo Gabriel's wish somehow Which I think is something that will happen or a plot twist Adrian finds out everything he steals the miraculous earrings from ladybug somehow without finding out her identity and he does Gabriel's wish Natalie will still be find somehow he'll make sure that she doesn't get sick again but he'll undo his dad's wish and put reality back the way it's supposed to be I could see the writers doing that And they somehow bring Gabriel back and Adrian finally will get the chance to confront his dad like he should have been doing seasons ago I could see this happening😂 I don't know I keep looking back at this show that just makes me want to do a rewrite and I usually don't like doing rewrite the shows 😅 And it's so crazy to me because Thomas worked on w.i.t.c.h. And the writing they were doing for marinette's character in the beginning it was just crazy especially in season 3 I'm glad they weren't as crazy in the last two seasons they've done and her character felt more relatable I hope they continue to do that in the next season

From my point of view Gabriel didn't win. His entire plan across five seasons was to bring back Emily from her coma. But in the end he didn't achieved his goal because he wish Natalie to be healed. Even though he save Natalie's life, but in the end he didn't get what he wanted because he's in the after life with Emily. Not being a normal family like he wanted with Emily and Adrian.

Hearing that Emily didn't get revived definitely makes it seem less like Hawkmoth won, but we shouldn't need word of god to know that. We don't even know what his wish changed, except that Natalie is healthy. Even then, that could be filed under a lot of wishes i.e. "I wish Adrian wouldn't lose his friends", "I wish the peacock's illness was negated", "I wish Natalie could walk again", "I wish Natalie never wore the Peacock miraculous", etc.

In my opinion, Gabriel won. Why? Well, because bringing back his wife wasn't his motive. His actual motive was to fix what happened in the past (At least, that's what he implies). However, as you know, the universe got re-written instead (His sacrifice). I have an idea as to why that was his sacrifice, but that's not really important now. What's important is the following question: Did Gabriel get what he wanted? The answer is that we don't really know. Since every universe's timeline is linear and singular, Gimmi couldn't create another timeline for him. However, he might have created... a new space-time continuum (A multiverse, in short). Possibilities are many, so we just have to wait 🐉.

Gabriel's goal was ABSOLUTELY to bring Emilie back. If he wanted to fix the past, his target would have been the Bunny Miraculous the entire time. But no, he wanted the wish cheat code. I mean, sure, bringing Emilie back might have fixed a past mistake, but he wanted her back either way. No matter how you interpret it, the writing wasn't done well and the whole thing more complex than it needed to be 😑

I don't believe Gabe is that stupid to just go back and try fixing everything while risking everything at the same time. He could have fixed the past by re-writing the universe, which is our case right now. Yet, where is he now? I don't want to repeat what In my comment, so yeah. (I phrased this reply so badly lol).

🐲🐉 I agree with everyone that say even if Gabriel didn’t get what he wanted in the end, doesn’t mean he still won in the end. He was able to get what he now wanted to wish for, the universe and all its inhabitants, including the heroes, were killed, and he got to escape the consequences of his actions (unfortunately there is still the debate of whether it is because of Gabriel’s influence of the wish or Marinette trying to do damage control in extreme ways).

Saying Gabriel won is like crediting a Blacksmith for a win in a sword fight, the blacksmith did create the sword however he wasn't physically present in the fight, didn't trained in the fight and didn't took an life, Gabriel lost because his goal was being ALIVE with Emily, not dead, his "happy ending" was just lucky because no one wins

🐉 Everyone lost: the original heroes were destroyed and replaced, Gabriel died, leaving Adrian behind and worst of all, the little hope the fandom was desperately clinging to was destroyed. Honestly, I feel bad for the people who still had a lot of optimism for the show.

I stopped watching this a while ago but after seeing the ending a small while ago it really is just a draw situation. Not really sure how to feel about the series lolol, but I am interested to see how the show can continue now, if it can continue at all. 🐉

Oh the show is continuing. It has at least 2 more seasons confirmed with a whole new arc. In my opinion the Gabriel Agreste Arc still has some loose ends, but whatever~

@@TheArtisticAloubell Ah I see, yeah there are a couple ways I think they could continue based off my knowledge, I think something cool they could do is make certain characters self aware that the reality they live in was recreated and that could lead to interesting developments and motives. Maybe a character becomes self-aware (with reasonable explanation) and possibly tries to reverse everything, maybe the wish caused some problems in the new world that need to be solved. They would need to fix the wild plot decisions though.

🐉 For me personally, whether he won or lost doesn't matter, as it doesn't change the fact that the season 5 finale is badly written imo. I like the way you addressed this subject though!

I know that I am whole month late to the video, but there is also one other side to look at this. Gabriel's main goal was to take miraculouses of Ladybug and Cat Noir. Why this one is THE goal and not his dead wife? After he got time travel power he could easly go to the past and prevent Emily from dying. That's even what Nathalie wanted him to do. But instead he decided that he will steal the miraculouses, because ~~he's petty loser~~ he wanted his revange for all failers. He litellary was one gesture away from saving his wife and activly chose to go after the jewelry (even though he could do both). So his triumph over heroses had higher priority than his wife and wanting her back was excuse to keep fighting with them. So what's his winning condition with that goal? Making a wish. Exactly what he did in the finaly. So he won. He defeated heroses.

If had a nickel for everytime a show i had atleast some interest makes it so the entire universe gets erased and all the characters get replaced with identical copies i'd have at least 3 nickels (Miraculous, Dragonball and Ben 10) which is FAR TOO MUCH WHY DO WRITERS KEEP DOING THIS IT'S SUCH AN EXISTENTIAL NIGHTMARE AND IT'S NEVER ADRESSED HOW HORRIFYING THE CIRCUMSTANCES ACTUALLY ARE

My theory? Gabriel wished for Nathalie's health to get better. Why do I think that? Unless I missed something, she seemed to look healthier at the pool party. But why would Gabriel do that? For the longest time, Gabriel's main goal obviously was to get his wife back to unite their family. But perhaps, at the last minute, he decided to change plans. See, here's the dilemma: he, Nathalie and Emelie felt the touch of Death. The only reason these three weren't in the graveyard is because Emelie was put in a stasis chamber and Nathalie and Gabriel were close to dying but didn't get there yet, but their deaths were inevitable. So, if Emelie WAS wished back, then SHE'D be the one with a dead spouse and would face the same sadness. And she might not even be mad. Mad for two reasons: 1. she was wished back when she specifically didn't want to be and 2. she was wished back, selfishly and against her will, to a world by her dead husband, who, again, wished her back against her will. plus Nathalie would die as well. this would be sad for Adrien, as Nathalie sees him as her son (I assume) and likewise he sees her as like a second mother, I assume. so the best idea, would be to sacrifice his life to save Nathalie instead of Emelie. That way, his family can be back together. not the whole family, but 2/3 of it. in other words, he can finally be with Emelie again...but in the afterlife. and plus Adrien can get the mother figure he's been missing and needing for so long. plus, one can argue that Nathalie showed more affection to Adrien than Gabriel even could (he's probably always busy with fashion and villainy) or did - a fact maybe even Gabriel himself is aware of - so he decided to have Adrien continue to be raised by her instead of him. Another reason is that Nathalie has feelings for Gabriel...and maybe Gabriel sacrificed himself either because he was aware of that and/or he liked her back the same way. or perhaps he liked her as a friend and not romantically, but still cared about her enough to sacrifice himself for her. if anything i said was true, though, that'd be weird: i don't remember him ever showing any signs that he saw Nathalie as anything more than an employee or tool he can use, so who knows. Hmmm. if any of the stuff I just theorized is true, then the ending was perhaps more profound than any of us had realized.

I hated the ending, it means that everything before doesn't matter in the slightest. All that time wasted for nobody to win, and the consequences to be literally nothing.

Gabriel still won because he got away with his actions, and marinette enabled his victory by making him the “hero” instead of revealing to the public (or Adrien) the monster he really is

🐉 I mean on one hand you could say he won bc he wanted the black cat and ladybug miraculous but on other hand (and that's what I agree on) you could say he lost bc he wanted the miraculous to wish for his wife to come back and live a happy life with her and Adrien, which he can't bc he's death. And Emely is still death too. So he technically didn't get what he wanted. The only thing he got was to escape the consequences he would've faced. But still to this day it makes me feel uncomfortable that Adrien admires his abuser and that Gabriel is potrayed as a hero and they even made him a *statue* of him💀 He did so much horrible things and didn't even got consequences! I guess that's normal in this show... 😒

No I refuse to define winning as strictly achieving your goals. One could argue that technically, Zuko never achieved his goal, yet no one would say he lost in the long run. Zuko got what he deserved, and Gabriel deserved nothing less than being called out as the horrible person he was.

Happy new 🐉 year! Oke, so, how I see; Gabriel practicly won. He got in the position to make a Wish, but, as I think, he kinda did not get what HE would have wished for... What do I mean? Well... I belive he Wished for to Adrien's Wish become reality.... - WHAT DO YOU WISH FOR? - Read my heart (I want my son's Wish to be fulfilled) - WHAT DO YOU SACRIFISE? - Read my soul (I sacrifise mine) Think about it; Adrien's face was the first thing we saw after the universe was re-created, and look up what he asked in Passion... No Monarch, no fight, no illness (for Nathalie)... All become reality....

No one won but Gabriel and his ego. Bloody hell, when every fan can point out the problems of a series and write so much better than the offical team, you know that the show is being run into the ground. Those fans writing better stories outright from the ground up or adressing the problems in universe and have the characters work through their wrongs are going to go far as creators. Honestly that's what the series is, a huge ever growing what not to do list and fix it prompt.

How does the future where Bunnix exist work exactly if reality was replaced? And how does she feel knowing the lady bug and catnoir she knew basically died. That's kinda messed up.

And let’s not forget that we don’t know if Bunnix was affected as well because she was also erased too. If what people are saying as true and the whole universe was rewritten then Bunnix’s younger self was erased as well and the show never really made the rules clear on time travel so Bunnix could have been affected by Gabriel’s wish and doesn’t know it yet. The show never mentioned if the burrow acts like a shield from the timeline changes (which I guess it didn’t if she was slowly being erased). If the burrow was able to protect Bunnix then it did a poor job of it if it wasn’t able to save her from being erased in Cat Blanc.

And again, Su Han, Master Su Han was right all along, Master Fu-Bar made the wrong choice, no, scratch that, he never had any wisdom nor right to make the choice of the next master. No matter what the plot says, Su Han was never wrong, was never proven wrong and Ditzynette is not worthy of being a master, what they should have done is either defeat Hawk Moth, or, let him make his wish, but, at the cost of someone else's life, Mari's mother for example, which would create a rift between the heroes (also, have Cat be there), and justify a timeskip where Su Han takes Mari away to train her to be a master and curb her anger. Rose could also be sacrificed, which would make Juleka become the new Hawk Moth or, have Lila's mother die, have Lila try to redeem herself after finding the butterfly miraculous having Nooro as a confidant intil she finds out screw-upbug and cat noir failed to stop Hawk Moth and that caused her mother to be sacrificed, giving her a legitimate reason to hate Ladybug, or have Natalie become Hawk Moth after Gabriel dies, or even, have Zoe be sacrificed, causing the Mayor to become Hawk Moth and Chloe wanting to be better seeing her dad suffer and her mom being callous, and after finding out the truth she becomes an aloof ally (kinda like Shadow The hedgehog or Rokusho)

This is why I give up that show so much and never watch it again and hate to say that but not really Marinette aka Ladybug fails as hero, Sorry if I triggered you all. Ladybug is the one who put Chloe into villainous deeds, Stalking Adrian and even worse that she's not a great protagonist and I believe that she's the real villain that Gaberil I would make something different but I feel really bad about Chloe because the writers and Thomas Astruc hates her so much that they killing off the little girl which is too far, She only a child!! You know what I made this story in Wattpad of Redemption of The Bee Hero that Chloe runs away from Paris universe to live in the new universe called The Unknown League Universe and yes it's my own and I made my own characters in the unknown League Universe but not miraculous ladybug characters. Also she's gonna have new family and friends and becoming not only a hero but a princess. But by the away great Video and keep up the amazing work 😁

My thoughts on Gabriel's fate? He successfully steals the Ladybug and Black Cat Miraculous, makes his wish to revive Nathalie at the cost of his life, and reunites with his wife Emelie in the afterlife...so does this mean he wins? No...because thanks to god awful writing season 5 ended on a terrible note...Gabriel rewrites the universe while telling Marinette to tell Adrien about what a "heroic" father he was during his final moments when throughout the series he done nothing but being an emotionally abusive parent towards Adrien. Not only that but he makes Marinette gaslight his son into believing he's a loving father who can do no wrong and what's worse, him sacrificing himself to revive his assistant is essentially a get out of jail card as he gets no repercussions for his villainous actions, so therefore, nobody wins in the end

I think the reason we didn’t get Emilie back is because Marinette was like that isn’t right. Marinette. You forgave a terroist as well as tried to kill Emilie with the cataclysm. I don’t want to hear crap from you!

The writers of this show just like to adjust details to their own liking, instead of making it make SENSE. Around season 1-3 they kept saying that if Hawkmoth got his hands on the jewels, he can make a wish which will cause a life for life situation. In season 4-5, he kept saying of how he's going to destory the world when he gets the 2 miraculouses. Like bro, season 5 was the worst, since we saw the world end in ephemeral. So, in conclusion, make up your minds writers 😒😑.

After seeing the finale, I get why he was not allowed to write the movie if he was a good writer then he would have been allowed to write the movie somebody in the miraculous team saw the writing of season five and how bad Thomas is they decided to just cut him off from the movie and not let him near the movies writing room that’s why the movie so much better than the show because Thomas did not write it and if Thomas is not part of the writing team anymore then that is a good thing

The more I try to think about that finale, the more disappointed and annoyed I get. I feel like it punishes those in the audience who actually cares about the world building, characters and consistency…kinda reminds me of RWBY in that sense. 🐲🐉

For me, Gabriel didn’t really redeem himself. If he really wanted to change, then he wouldn’t have done the wish and if Adrien was present, then Gabriel would have spent his last few minutes reconciling with his son. This is not what is supposed to happen, he shouldn’t have done the wish. I can’t believe that I used to sympathize with him. In all, as for someone that is planning to be an animator, Gabriel will forever be an example of how NOT to write a sympathetic villain. In the movie however, he was much more well-written, because it seemed that he was more selfless and less abusive to his son. Plus, when he found out that his son was Cat Noir, he stopped being Hawk Moth. Unlike his tv show counterpart, he is a man who is desperate, selfless, and cared about his son, despite being emotionally neglectful to him. I prefer this version over the tv series version of him any day. 🐲

Sorry, actually I kind of got that idea about Gabriel not redeeming himself from the season 5 finale review, and you brought up a really good point.

I haven't watched season 5 so I'm confused by everything but I dunno what to think about the ending. At least it's slightly bittersweet but at the same time I'm a bit tired of these Deus ex Machina type endings in shows where almost everything resets to the default state

Talk about a lose lose situation. No one benefited in the show.

For the retrospective and in my opinion, the heros won. At the end of the day, Hawk moth or whatever lost, Hawk moth won’t akumatise people anymore and no one knows what really happened except for Marinette/Ladybug. So despite the bad writing and the horrible story, the people of Paris can continue their normal lives without being afraid of an akuma attack on a “daily basis”

It just personally feels wrong to me when it isn't depicted respectfully. Some stories are more innocent about it than others, but I personally don't care for it, which is why I'm staying away from Hazbin Hotel

They both won and lost in the end; Gabriel made his wish to be with Emile, but sacrificed his own life to be with her again and the heroes retrieved every miraculous he stole in Strikeback, minus the butterfly one which Cerise has now! The ending to the Agreste arc is still bad, I’m just saying that it wasn’t a complete victory for the villain.
