Did Drogon Disobey Daenerys in King’s Landing? (House of the Dragon/Game of Thrones Theory)

Season 1 of House of the Dragon is better than Game of Thrones Season 1, for me. Every episode became my favorite until the next one. The Storm’s End sequence might be one of the greatest scenes in the GOT universe so far (along with the Alicent/Rhaenyra dagger scene and almost every scene in “The Lord of the Tides”). Great tension, made me dreaded with anticipation and invoked lots of emotion, hoping he would survive the chase.
As for this theory, did Drogon burn King's Landing without Daenerys' command? Did she only intend to fly straight to the Red Keep and kill Cersei but Drogon spit fire down below first? Just a fun thought while waiting for Season 2.

This was so sad! Viserys was so wise though. He never claimed another dragon after Balerion.
I remember thinking that it would have been a great twist if Drogon had been out of Danny's control during the burning of Kings Landing. I remember finding it odd that you never got to see any close-ups of Danny while it was happening and then the episode ends and you had to wait a week to see her in the aftermath. This was also when I had my wild theory that Bran was the Night King and that he had Warged into Drogon at the last minute, burning the city while also framing Danny as a Genocidal maniac. Such exciting times those were 😆
What if Deanery could do time travel and come in HOTD. I regards Danny no less than a goddess. Sansa and Cersei could not fight any battle but Danny faced night King twice.

Daenerys: I tried to make peace with Cersei , she used their innocence as a weapon against me ..she thought that it would cripple me. Daenerys burnt Kingslanding willingly and she had no excuses for it nor was she shocked or even apologetic about it in the slightest way..let’s not put it on Drogon lol I know the Dany Stans will love this excuse this video for trying to imply it was accident but this ain’t it chief. Also Daenerys : “ they should know who to blame when the sky falls down upon them”
