Such a relevant comment for me personally. Absolutley love it.....Megatron too. Best RB & WR of all time (With CJ, maybe behind Randy Moss. Rice is top 10, but let's be real....moss & tron are simply in a class of their own)

Yeah it does feel good, even though he left us all crying. I understand.
Just listened to Dan Campbell's introductory press conference and Shiela Ford Hamp does in fact list Barry Sanders as one of the advisors. Love that Barry and Calvin are part of the team again and hope they can finally get both of them a ring.

Barry is such a class act! Not many humble people left these days, he could easily tell everyone that he "was the greatest to ever run the ball" and he would not be lying at all. Instead, he is low key and lets the tape talk for him.

Walter also ran over a few defensive players. Search you tube for Walter Payton run vs KC Chiefs as he literally ran over 3-4 Chiefs players for about a 30 yard gain. Mind blowing to see a back so that in the same run. Walter was a physical BEAST 🤯

I’ve worked on the buildings in downtown Detroit and that was my all time favorite mural EVER!
I'll never forget as a 9 year old boy going to downtown Detroit. It was the first time I saw big buildings, and an actual city and poverty. My dad took me to a Tigers game. I'll never forget the first time I saw the Barry Sanders mural on the side of that building. Watching Barry growing up, and watching that mural stay years after Barry retired was always a part of being to downtown Detroit. When the banner was removed it was sad, and driving by years after looking at the building I still wish they would put Barry back on that building

Yep, and the tape of his actual play is just as stunning. That's the astounding thing, the numbers and tape were in complete alignment. He didn't get those numbers by being the tailback at Oklahoma, Texas, or Nebraska. He earned those yards and records against great teams. As his coach and QB both said, he could have run for 3,000 yards and 50 TDs if we actually left him in all the games.
When Barry said give me 10-15 snaps I got hype lol.
Barry's dad was a James Brown fan and JB never over celebrated TD's. Barry's dad would tell him act like you've been there (the end zone) and that you're going to go back there again. Barry was a very humble dude, too, and didn't want to taunt or ridicule his colleagues. Was grateful to watch him play every week for ten seasons! #HOF Lion!
Barry's always been a class act
I finally watched the documentary of Barry. I hate documentaries so I kept resisting, but even fans of other NFL teams eventually insisted I watch. Wow, great documentary! [FYI: Barry's before my time so I never saw him play until I saw clips in the doc]

They need to hire Barry Sanders as a Running Back coach or something. He deserves a ring. Based on Barry's running style, I see it being something like the skiing instructions from "Better Off Dead"... "Run in that direction REALLY fast. If something gets in your way... turn."

I'm so grateful for Mr. Sanders. These sports influencers are so ignorant. They have never watched Barry in season. He carried the team. Every single play they gave him the ball. One thing that has always bothered me about the Madden Games is that they never made a special reaction for Barry. In the game(s) he reacts like all the other players, doing a dance after a touchdown, etc.. The Madden devs don’t respect that Barry is and always was different.
Dan Campbell is one of the MOST POSITIVE human beings in the NFL ranks. Mr. Nagative Sean "DICKHEAD" Payton in Denver should learn from Dan 😤 I would PAY $$$ to listen to Dan speak. He is as good a motivational speaker as they come. Love Dan and the positive energy he brings to the Lions, ALWAYS believing.

A RAMS MEET-UP WOULD BE A DISTRACTION - THE FOCUS ON THAT POINT WHILE NOT LOOKING AT THE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAY AND ACCOMPLISMENTS... BUT I DO HAVE A DREAM SCENERIO WHERE THAT WOULD BE A POSSIBLITY. FIRST, THE RAMS KNOCK OFF SF ALLOWING THE LIONS TO ACCEDE TO NUMBER 1. WITH THE RAMS THEY PRETTY MUCH EMBARRASS THE RAMS WHICH MAKES THE "MATCH-UP" ISSUE A NON ISSUE. HERE'S MY PROJECTION THROUGH TO THE SUPER BOWL, INTERJECTING SOME OLD LION'S CHAMPIONSHIP HISTORY, THE BROWNS, BY SOME CRAZY FLACO MAGIC WIN THE AFC AND MEET DETROIT IN THE SUPER BOWL! YA NEVER KNOW... WHILE WINNING IN DALLAS IS NOT AN ABSOLUTE NECESSITY IT WOULD DEFINATELY BOLSTER THEIR PERFORMANCE AND CHANCES. GO LIONS!
