They don't own the copyright for meeple in the US. I saw an article saying someone else was going to try to get it. Either way I hope people push back against that company's BS in the US at least.

My understanding is that they also only own meeple in the UK for non-board game products. I think Germany is the only country where they can apply the right to board games.

I suggest everyone start calling them "Meat Balls". We started doing this because so often it sounds like people say this when playing online.

Animal Rules Football looks to be a play on the sport of Aussie Rules Football, which is an amazing blend of basketball (hence the cover depicting the jump ball), American football, and soccer. Seriously fun to watch. However, games simulating sports don’t tend to work so will be interesting to see what Martin Wallace did once more info is out.

Event Horizon is an amazing movie. I was hoping the the board game would tie in. Although that would be an obscure tie in since it seems to be a cult hit at best.

I love Event Horizon movie, but scifi and horror is right on my lane.

Really excited for the new Star Wars set. More cards is generally a fun thing.

Lawrence Fishburne's character saying "We're leaving" is low key one of the best lines ever delivered in a film.

I'd argue that it's a good movie, no bad qualifier. Horror and horror/scifi have a lower bar. lol

Vegas Showdown is coming back! It’s not hard to make a better production than the original so should be pretty good

Asia Tigers cover has a deformed 4 fingered hand, and a boot-leg tokyo tower merging with the building in front of it and random lines coming off the dudes jacket. The jacket is missing a lapel. Random elements in the image are just photographs smushed in with pencil looking parts. Really cringe that you complemented this knock off ai crap.
