in the 1960s, I was coming down a stair case in New York and there was this lady in the lobby with long, brown hair wearing a black cape. She pirouetted turning toward me with the loveliest smile, and I knew this was a 'personage' and later, I realized it was Miss Von Furstenberg!

She puts herself first. As a woman , women need to be given this message , Especially living in a society where men are taught it’s ok to put themselves first.

I catch the bus everyday the M12 or M14D with their housekeeper or office cleaner who has been with them for about 15 years and she said her husband is so nice and generous --- I also worked for someone who worked for Diane in an executive level and said Diane was vulgar ! Me too.

I love how she says "I don't judge" when it comes to plastic surgery. It shows she respects other people's decision and understand people may be going through some insecurities. She doesn't think her beliefs are superior and bring people down with it.

I overall agree.I can understand she's talking about quite a personal iteration of what the "marriage" concept is...she's fully entitled to live the way she likes better yet she's really been a bit too assertive. The term companionship could be better fitting her ideal of marriage.
