The other ladies did not deserve the the ‘diss’ from Ross or Gordy. These ladies were treated horribly and SHE should be ashamed at her own behavior and lack of caring for her b group mates. I’ve never respected her in any way. She used the group ladies talent to her advantage, Devious calculating, self-centered, using Gordy as a tool to get her way, but he was as guilty. The old saying says “ A woman sits on gold”, and 😢I say, should the female be ruthless enough and the man weak enough!!

After what she did to Florence Ballard, her "friend" for years she has always disgusted and repulsed me. To this day, she is dead meat in my eyes. You don't screw over a friend to advance yourself...

What I hated she did was to ignore Florence Ballard children after she passed ,yes I considered her to be uncaring ,she could have helped supported her children ,since she had money and Florence passed on with no money ,some way there should have been help for her children ,or a concert with some of the money going to her family.

I was so excited to go to one of her concerts! She was so rude to the audience and demanded people not get up while she was performing even if they went to the restroom. I had always liked her…after that concert I never cared to listen to her again. It was all about her. So sad.

The WIZ was superb. It was sooooo creative visually. The screenplay was off the charts. That film was Great! The soundtrack should have received Grammys and a Oscar for best soundtrack. I have the album and it is jammin'. Ashford and Simpson and Quincy wrote fantastic songs for this film. It was just the best. Ross, Michael and others were at their best. I don't know what happened, but the powers in Hollywood didn't want this film to exceed the Wizard of Oz. But the Wiz did just that. The power of media can be demonic.

Diana Ross never had a downward spiral. Her career after the Supremes went up, up & up. No act stays at the top of the charts for 50 + years. Get real. The woman was nominated, for an Oscar a Tony and many Grammies. She had top selling soundtracks & biographies. Diana Ross won Golden Globes and many other accolades. She was a number #1 artist for many years and, she has headlined sold out international tours. She had TV, shows, movies & stage plays. What more can an artist want? There is other info in this video that is purposely, incorrect coming from a place of hate. Diana Ross is a black icon & a legendary singer. People should not tear her down with myths & lies. Haters its got to stop! At this point, It reflects monstrously, bad on black culture. We are better than this hate that old people hold against her for (1. being poor but not carrying the stink with her. (2.) Being successful and not being broke. (3) Not being dead from a scandal. (4). Not dying from a drug overdose. (5) Not dying in poverty.

As I entered my teen years, I first heard of Supremes at a Jr. High talent show I preformed on. Three girls lip sync to Where did our Love go and Stop In The Name of Love. The Supremes joined my other favorite group, The Beatles. These are still my all-time favorite groups. A few others have joined the list, but Diana Ross, The Supremes and The Beatles are still the toppers. The order can vary, but no one else has been able to join or topple them.

I only agree with you because when you thrive early in your life and have a long career and raise kids at the same time, I agree with you but when you had a career since you were a child and have been entertaining practically all your life and never had children and suddenly you have one it’s time to call it quits because you have lived your whole life doing what you love and it’s time to let somebody else who hasn’t done anything to have their time and wants to do what they love and still be able to still be in their child life and help in raising them with the mother, it’s ok

Diana Ross is who and what she has always been, probably even when she was a child. She's selfish, inconsiderate, in love with no one but herself. It has also been reported that she did or does not allow black people into her house through the front entrance. I've never liked her, but I do like her music. There are many others who feel the same way about her. It was unfortunate and disgusting how she treated her fellow singers, but that's a price she will eventually have to pay, and she will also have to one day face her affair with a married man, Berry Gordy.

Diana Ross is the boss! Jealousy & insecurities destroyed the goup. Her talent shined & the others had the same opportunity. She also had her hair on point & could sew. Think she was closes to Barry Gordy, which resulted in a child. It does not matter how she became successful, the point is she did what she had too, in order to pay her bills. All of my life I was told that I look like her & it made me a fan, absolutely. Saw her in person at the Music Center in Los Angeles around 1977, she was lovely & interacted with the ordience.
