I'm not sure there is an entrance in entertainment history that compares. It's the Ultimate and sets the Bar!. The narrative entrance from the 1983 concert in Central Park was Epic as well. I'm surprise there were no clips shown from one of the most defining moments in musical history as well. Ross is a Goddess! No one comes close.

    But wasn't she involved with Barry? The owner of Motown? She even had a daughter with him she said was daughter of her husband so why is she saying women didn't have to.fuck to have a career? She did fuck with the boss the one responsible to promote her above the other Supremes even though she didn't have the better voice so... more fuck than she did taking the credits? We can only say maybe it was for love but then... she did had a relationship with her boss that was the responsible for her entire career. Had not been for that would she have had a career when he was the only one saving her many times? Don't think so, so isn't a good example for be telling that cause it's obvious she was one clear case of couch. She never dated ugly men, she had a preference for white men, and Barry was ugly, short, bald, and black... The relationships she had afterwards proove he wasn't her type. So...

  • @valvacious2793

    @valvacious2793

    Ana - I think they started the affair after she started having some of the early hits for the Supremes. It has been noted, she was seeing one of HDH songwriters first. Then his wife came in the studio to beat her butt and Florence had to step in. ( it is in the book: "All That Glittered: My Life With the Supremes," by Tony Turner.) 1. Berry Gordy is ALL ABOUT THE BENJAMINS...all about money. Coochy don't rule him. If Ross did not deliver hit records she would have been replaced just like Florence was. 2. He was freakin not only Ross but other female artists at Motown. 3. In the book, "All That Glittered: My Life With the Supremes," by Tony Turner. Tony said BG would get a hotel room between Motown white singer, Chris Clark and Diana. He was known to date his female artists. Think about it. A short, unattractive black man in the 50 and 60 that finally has big bank money and power....He an't being faithful to anyone. He has 8 kids by different women. 4. Tony's book was FABULOUS! Tony tells the story from Florence's point of view. He was her personal friend and got him hired onto Motown. You begin to understand how dirty Berry Gordy really was. Diana was just his puppet and did as she was told. True she should have spoken up for her friends but it really was BG who called the shots. 5. BG was 15 years older than DR and was a dictator. It was his way or the highway. BG ran off the KIng of Pop, MJ and the jackson Five. Marvin Gaye and other artists had to threaten to leave to gain creative control of their careers. 6. The book , "All that Glitters : My life with the Supremes," is the backstage story of the Supremes as seen by an inside, Tony Turner, who was there from "Baby Love" to the bitter end. Tony Turner grew up with the group as their mascot, helper, confidant and companion. Now he tells the whole tale, from the first exuberant taste of stardom to the last angry exchange.

    @@thomaskevinhughes8890 You're lying. Only those who Diana Ross refused to let use her for their purposes complain about her. Even then, upon close examination of their stories, are found to be lying...or incredibly STUPID/unprofessional. My friend has interacted with her(in concert)twice. He describes her as absolutely lovely and generous both times. As for her talent, it's extraordinary. She's never had to scream and holler to make her point, which is why the entire world continues to honor and love her, while the rest are left to their various devices. You're dismissed.:)
