Thank you J.Fro I appreciate your love for the music and the legacy that has been created from these iconic performances. Cindy joined in 1967 Falling in and out of love was her first. So this was 1968 season for the ladies. The look and the sound was already legendary but they took it to another dimension. Those black dresses/outfits became the iconic staple of all 90s girl groups. That medley they ate!!! The style choreography vocals was all there!! You could hear everyone singing out and shining. That posse at the end was the iconic stance Beyoncé borrowed at the close of Crazy in Love. This performance was the blueprint!!!

This was more than these women singing .It was the the way they showed Black people and the world we could be more than servants or maids, at the time that we could be more .And this was a statement .Changed my life forever ,I am thankful to these three amazing Black Women .

This was not Cindy's first appearance with the Supremes on Ed Sullivan. This is my favorite drats ed Sullivan.
It's a shame that the background vocals were done by Motown's in-house session singers, The Andantes. Mary and Cindy were very capable of singing the background harmonies on their own.
