The word you were searching for to describe Diana's unique voice is "Shamanic" - she transports you to another place. She was 14/15 yo in this Russian competition “You’re super!” for children left without parental care. Despite her horrendous early childhood experiences she has not only survived but excelled in her determination to be a superstar. This is a good song to start with but it's the tip of the Diana iceberg! She will be 18yo in May and she already sings in 6 different languages! Russian, English, French, Spanish, German and a couple of days ago she did a cover in Arabic! Great reaction - keep up the good work and promote these young talented singers with every reaction you do! xxx

@@DrewsClues Your wish is my command - short(ish) life story - Diana's birth mum beat her badly, broke her collarbone and tried to drown her, then threw her out in the cold - at 3yo!! Diana was her only child after 12 failed pregnancies, you would think she would have loved her? A passing relative took Diana to an orphanage because they thought she was retarded (she cried continuously - not surprisingly!) Her new foster mum Irina worked at the orphanage and her daughter told Irina that if she didn't adopt Diana then she WOULD when she was old enough! SO Irina adopted her at 5yo. Diana could barely speak so they took her to a voice therapist who discovered Diana had a great singing voice - the rest is history. Irina and her family are immensely proud of her of course. They had to leave Arsenyev (way over in the far east of Russia) to escape Diana's horrible birth mum who would not stop being horrible to her even as a teen. They moved to Tolyatti then after Igor Krutoy gifted Diana a Moscow flat, they now live there. She is an inspiration to us all. Not only has Diana survived this evil, she has excelled and thrived. Some story eh? When I have a bad day I think of Diana's story and how lucky I am.

Diana talked about 12 terminated pregnancies of her biological mother. But her mother herself spoke of 4 aborted pregnancies. Diana's own mother drinks a lot, and she has a very scary, frightening look! And Diana's father is Azeibarjanian. He was in jail when Diana was adopted.

@@DrewsClues .... I generally only watch The Voice here for the audition rounds as I LOVE those spinning chairs & would pay ANYTHING to get one in my house!!! I mainly love when you see a judge hit their button after barely a few words as the light (💡) goes on & their inner voice says “I think we may have something here!!! Let’s check this out!!!”. Of course, when all 4 hit the buttons simultaneously.... It’s way better 💥✊️😝💥

15 years old in that video. The program she was on is called "You are super" and is for disadvantaged and orphaned children. She won this and then the next year a special with returning winners and she won that too. Her backstory was pretty bad .. her birth mother beat her and threw her out into the street when she was 3 or 4 and she ended up in an Orphanage. She was rescued by a therapist working at the Orphanage who adopted her and gave her the love she lacked. She actually entered the Russian Voice yodeling. I have seen several voice coaches call her the youngest contralto ever. She is currently attending GITIS in Russia .. comparable to Julliard in the US. She is 17 ..turns 18 May 31.

She was introduced to music as speech therapy because she could not speak due to the trauma she was subject to, god bless her adopted Mother, what a phenomenal amazing young lady.

I've never heard her before. She has a very unique voice, definitely not a typical sound you hear often. I love this song and seems to be very, very well suited to her tones. I love the way she made the song her own. Very cool. :-)

Having grown up in a house of music lovers (my parents were big fans of Elvis & The Beatles) & being glued to those Saturday morning video countdowns shows on tv here, I grew to learn so much but was also a very good student of music in school & learned so much. Of course, I’ve become partial towards our Aussie artists but love music of so many styles from countries all over the world 🎼🤟😎🎼

She had a very very bad childhood until she was 4 you can look up the details yourself she is 14 or 15 in this performance but she is the best Singer I have ever listen to! Everything I've ever heard her saying she makes hers and everything has been awesome so far got to love Diana
