Hello! This is an interesting song to start with for Diana, she usually doesn’t sing in a style like this but that just shows her versatility as an artist. Many of her covers make full use of the uniqueness and depth of her voice as well as her flexibility as a vocalist, and they usually turn out with a “darker” or more “tribal” sound. Diana has a rare and magical voice. I encourage you to seek more of her music out. She has a new release from a major motion picture in Russia that is the last thing she uploaded. It's tribal and atmospherice...go check it out. She has excellent English subtitles on her videos on her official KZread channel. She's a native Russian singer but does sing in multiple languages. Greetings from Scotland! Just the tip of an enormous iceberg that is Diana Ankudinova! Go check her YT channel! I've been following her for 7 years and even at 13yo she had already been performing on stage for 8 years! She is a natural dramatic contralto (VERY deep!) which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young! Diana also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones, so sounds like more than one voice when she sings, multiple voices sometimes! Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russia in Primorsky Territory, northeast of Vladivostok. Her adoptive family moved to Togliatti, in western Russia near the Volga River then after Igor Krutoy (a famous (DIMASH?) composer/producer) gifted Diana an apartment in Moscow she moved there and still lives there! It made it easier for her to study at GITIS International, the largest and oldest theatrical State Institution in Russia. She has an extensive entry in Wikipedia now which explains her sad early childhood. She is now 20yo and she has already sung in *7 languages, Russian, English, French, Spanish, German, Ukrainian and Arabic!!!* As you view more of her performances, covers and originals, you will see this is the tip of a giant iceberg! Diana once said in a TV interview "In principle, if you don't sing with your soul, you probably don't sing".
