I’m not a German speaker although my sir name is…but Diana is for me the Best Solo Female Vocalist in the World. I am just impressed with everything she’s performed. 👉Das ist Dianas Lied für eine Prüfung zwei Tage zuvor. Spontan entschloss sie sich, dieses Lied dem Publikum vorzustellen und da sie keine Musikdatei dabei hatte, sang sie einfach a capella. Ich empfinde ihre Aussprache als sehr klar, allerdings mit einem etwas harschen Akzent. Dieses Lied erschien im Jahr 1967. Der ursprüngliche Sänger ist: Udo Jürgens (*1934 in Klagenfurt, Kärnten, Österreich; †2014; österreichischer und schweizerischer Staatsbürger, Komponist, Pianist und Sänger) Ein deutscher Schlager-Experte sagte über ihn: „Udo Jürgens sang Lieder.“ Das hat die Leute wirklich bewegt. ... Er hat die westdeutsche Gesellschaft jahrzehntelang begleitet und war immer nah dran an den gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen - oder ihnen oft sogar ein Stück voraus.“ Seine Karriere erstreckte sich über fast 60 Jahre. Stilistisch lässt er sich irgendwo zwischen Schlager, Chanson und Pop einordnen und gewann 1966 als erster Österreicher mit „Merci, Chérie“ den Grand Prix Eurovision de la Chanson (heute Eurovision Song Contest). Ich selbst mochte diesen Sänger nicht besonders, weder als Mensch noch als Sänger. Die Texte seiner Lieder sind sehr gut, unterscheiden sich oft von Standard-Popsongs ... aber sie wurden nicht von ihm geschrieben. Es mag seltsam klingen, aber die Stimme von Udo Jürgens hat in meinen Ohren keinen Klang... im Gegensatz zu Dianas. Sie könnte mir das Telefonbuch vorsingen. Hallo. Am Vorabend dieses Auftritts hat Diana die Gesangsprüfung am Institut mit diesem Lied bestanden. Und als es notwendig war, ein Lied auf einer Zugabe zu singen, kam ihr die Idee, dieses Lied zu singen.

Da ich das Original kenne (schon kannte), konnte ich diese Aufführung sofort genießen. Dianas Auftreten ist natürlich und sehr gewinnend.
