A young boy recently lost his mother. During a fishing trip on Lake Baikal he was separated from his grandfather during a blizzard. The lake spirit "Spirit of Baikal" wakes him from the ice, leads him to safety and helps him deal with his grief. It's a family movie which will be released all across Russia on October 19th. Вместо "зарубежных" Сирен лучше бы использовать для аналогий славянского *Алконоста (он же -- Гамаюн).* Это мифическое певчее райское существо и Васнецов (в картине), и Блок, и Высоцкий в своих текстах использовали, в коннотации "травит душу", т.е. "пробирает душу" 🙂 Алконост -- радостное существо, Сирин -- печальное. Нейросеть Сбербанка в 2023 нарисовала обобщённый образ *мифического Алконоста* -- красивенько получилось, лицо -- женское, строгое и сосредоточенное 🙂

Thank you so much for that info, amazing. I know that Baikal is also part of the Unesco heritage as it's the oldest lake in the world. Containing speacise that are unic to the lake who was form 25 million year ago, compare to any other lake who were form after the ice age 10 000 year ago.

Lake Baikal - a sacred and beautiful place - is the frozen heart of the young boy, who is consumed by grief following the death of his mother. The spirit of the lake (Diana) and he are one, both encased in ice. As Diana remonstrates, to escape he must (re-)discover love within himself.

Her voice is already cinematic and now add these epic images. I can't wait to hear her voice on the giant theater surround sound speakers. I know my headphones and speakers do not presnt her voice as well as it should. Theres a short reel of her at a radio station singing sitting down and her voice is still epic and bigger the room she's in. Shes got new whole concerts posted from her current tour. Its amazing especially to hear her voice further expand and warm and the polyphonics are beyond description. All wrapped in friendly chatter, humility, and humor. I listen to her everyday

His grandfather took him fishing, but the car broke down and a snowstorm began. The boy got lost, tired and began to fall asleep on the ice.The spirit of Baikal came to him in the form of his mother and began to tell him not to sleep or else he would die. Then he began to break the ice and scare the boy, he woke up and went to the shore; it was already morning. The snowstorm ended, his relatives found him there.There is also a video on KZread in which a father brings his son to his grandfather in a car.😎👍

It's a pity, but I'm not well versed in the American mentality and culture. I'm afraid that my translation will be close to the text but misunderstood. for this purpose, there are special translators who are well versed in both cultures. I can try to adapt the translation according to the semantic load. but most likely the beauty of the original poetry will disappear.
