Someone who is different from the majority.Not easy for " white crows" to live among other people, nobody can understand them and very often they are insulted. Don't know how it is in other counties, but in Russia everybody knows this expression : "A white crow". Perfect image

The goosebump factor of her voice are the overtone qualities. She has full octave and mid octave overtones in her registers. This is what makes her unique. On top she's a dramatic contralto, which is extremely rare and most of them do not sound good. The good sounding contraltos are lyric contraltos. Diana is gifted, but this would be worthless without her incredible talent and intensive work to constantly improve herself. Kudos to her foster and adoptive mother, who saved her life. Literally!

@@valeriy.1446, сынок, я за свою долгую жизнь в жанре популярной музыки (выносим за скобки оперу) из вокалисток застал в расцвете даже Сумак и Хаген, не говоря о Кэри или Агилере, у которых был на концертах. Ловато, Сайрус, Бейонсе? Для меня - нет. Хьюстон и Уайнхаус - да. Но они ушли из жизни. Меня не "зацепили" голоса Адель, Оганисян или Кароль, хотя часто нравятся вокалистки с меньшим диапазоном (например, Пелагея, Джоплин /R.I.P./, Джонс, Шаде и др). Так что Анкудинова в моём топе ныне живущих вокалисток в "популярных" жанрах - №1.

This performance from Diana is just insanely good! It is one of her best performances during this show. It gave me some vibes of "Rechenka" with a with a finishing touch of "Human". No surprise she won this round of the show. I've also heard the original by Linda which wasn't bad by the way but as always Diana simply took this song to another level. She's really out of this world! Yes, Diana compressed this song somewhat but that just made it better because the last one to one and a half minutes of the original song were just more or less repetitives and also the intro took about thirty seconds. Diana's version is much more intense and captivating.

She was going high notes on ya...ya...ya... part, and was able to hit the note D5 repeatedly many times.

Including both the singing and the judge's comments which are also included. As far as Christmas music is concerned. Please consider reacting to two young ladies known as the Harp Twins. They are classically trained harp players. But they play a very wide variety of music. Including a Christmas song the wrote called Nordic Solstice. The original song that is sung by Linda in the mid-90s has a post-apocalyptic music video and is a lot longer than this cover. Unfortunately, Diana had to leave one more verse behind, I guess because of the time that is given by the show. Translating the lyrics for you...
