Thank you for the analysis on the rulers. Always wondered about how well they worked. Seems like I’ll just go with the checker board method which seemed to work well for white. Appreciate your time with this. Peace and love abide with you 💕

I'm with you with the square rulers. the round ones I love. But when I use them I don't run my fingers over them I have a press pen roller use on them lightly.

I roll over them too. I got rid of my square ruler, but I did keep a couple different sizes of the rounds. Thanks for watching!!

It appears the canvas is not consistent, the ruler is probably more accurate in spacing. I have used a ruler on a round canvas. That is when you really discover how good the drills are.

I've seen a lady's DP were she laid all her drills perfectly strait. I didn't like it because all you seen was a bunch of lines, the painting did flow right it look like a cross stitch.

This was helpful & informative so thank you. I used the link in your video to Amazon for the rulers. They don’t list them as 140.0, 140.5, or 141. They have them as 599, 520, & 699. Do you know how they convert them? I would like to buy rulers from Doni but hers are around $26 ea & that’s so expensive for my retirement budget. I can afford Amazon bc you get 3 of them. My confusion comes when looking at the different measurements. Any advice? Ty

I believe the larger numbers refer to the number of drills you can place. You can try looking in some of the budget company sites like Fansells - I believe they list the sizes and it might be a bit cheaper. Thanks for watching!!

My ruler for round Dp, size is 141mm/5.55mm and it was a really difficult ruler to use. Plus it broke because I used it too much! 😦❤

Sorry but I have a totally different experience, DP Rulers are the BEST, another creator showed me how to measure my canvas and what ruler to use and WOW what a game changer perfectly placed straight drills I LOVE LOVE LOVE the rulers they really aren't that hard to put on and if you peel and press at the same time when taking the ruler off job done, but we're all different some are going to love them some are going to hate them and it's OK either way but I'm a huge fan lol

There is a definite learning curve with them! I just feel like I spend more time fussing with the ruler than I do diamond painting. But everyone’s experience is different. Thanks for watching!!

Yeah, same here. I did get it to work with the Oroloa kit I had, but I don’t like pattern where I can’t see all the drills in that section. I haven’t seen any square rulers like that, though.
