Thanks for sharing a great testimony. The Diamonds are fantastic airplanes. I'd say they are the new standard in Gen Av for safety, efficiency with the turbo diesels and jet A. They're like the Tesla of the aviation world in terms of modernizing an old method of transportation into the 21st Century. I hope more manufacturers update their power plants so we don't have to do everything manually like monitor mixture, manifold pressure, and prop. Too many things to worry about in an emergency. I liked your picture on the F-15A. 405th TTW Luke AFB Home of the Fighter Pilot. I was there from '94 - 2011 when it was Falcon Country as a weapons troop. I'm trying to do a collection of Luke's flagships in models and its a Huge collection just in F-15's and F-16's alone! Congratulations on your Diamond! Happy flying.

As an engineer (embedded systems, software and logic design) I got introduced to Diamond through a colleague. I'd love to once learn how to fly a plane, let alone own one - but the irony of the situation is that those that design the planes are certainly not the ones that end up using them.
