i share my comments with the utmost respect to the author. i have noticed some trends , every time i get a video upload showcasing an op build. im an average player, unable to play all day every day, i work, come home, and do all the things we pretty much all do if your an adult who works and takes care of yourself and possibly a family. that said, i play the weekends, when i come home from work, every chance i get. the thing i dont like about so many builds, is the lack of wiggle room on some of the stats , rolls, secondary stats etc. i have really nice gear, and i tried this build out for shear curiosity , and have learned some things. 1 , this build isnt forgiving, if you dont have nearly the exact same gear . rolls and stats as the author. almost no wiggle room. i tried it, and the aoe was amazing, but i just wasnt getting enough mana in boss fight and single target . i did however discover that with some tweaks, i could make it work. i had to drop the ring aspect , from crit chance above 100% mana, to the one where chain lightning gives mana on bounce, i had to drop lightning spears enchant, in favor of chain lightning, mana issues solved. i made some other minor tweaks to the skills, and even tho im only throwing lightning spear on its cd. i must say im quite impressed. even tho im missing out on alot of the dmg multiplyer from having so many conjurgation skills going off in battle, the fact that im only manual casting lightning spear, with its aspect to give you a chance to cast another, the cc is really, really good. so far, almost all the ball lightning builds have plenty enough dps to get the job done, in lvl 100 nms, no matter my build, i have enough dps to casually play the hardest content in the game. what this build has that i like alot, is the cc., even tho im taking a dps loss from not using lightning spears enchant, in favor of chain lightning so i can get some mana, it still works amazing, and am currently still experimenting with it. i do not recomend this build , if you cannot match the gear stats as the author has shown us that you need. however with some tweaks and creative thinking, even not having that exact gear as is shown, the build still performs really well . that said, i must say the only builds i have tried, that are forgiving, are the maxroll builds. they work great, and you dont need exact or identical stats to make them work. what im getting at, is i think the really best builds, are the ones almost anyone can use, and offers alot of wiggle room if you dont have optimal stats or secondary rolls, as it opens that build up to alot more players. every time i see a video showcasing a build , i get excited, and then im disappointed, because i know i dont have time to farm the exact gear and rolls to make it work. i think if you could find some builds, that offer some wiggle room, so players can still succeed despite not having perfect rolls, or identical gear, would be very attractive to your audience . because then you are sharing something that almost anyone can use . at least offer some options for players , who are having trouble farming the exact stats you show. do that, and your doing what almost no build showcase currently does . so far, maxroll is the only build author, to offer builds, that you dont need optimal things, and still will perform nearly as good and get you on your way. just my opinion here . we need diversity as players, not cookie cutter builds that only work if you have the exact gear . i look forward to your future builds , even the ones i cant possibly try out because there is no way i have time to farm everything exactly as shown. thank you RageGamingVideos.

I honestly was hoping this was gonna say how every video swears up and down the build is op and broken and the best build. I’m convinced ALL builds are the best most overpowered build now 😂 I’ll just stick with Maxroll and the other sites builds because I get tired of listening to click bait videos especially when it’s like the same best build from previous season lol . Once I figure out what type of build it is I go over to maxroll, etc. use the build tier list and start that build. I make tweaks as I go. This game is a casual game and by level 100 I don’t even care about t100 nmd as all the nmd are basically the same. By time I get BiS gear and I may roll a few stats for crit or dmg, the season has like 2-3 weeks left in it and by then I’m bored and done with the game. I finish my battle pass, spam for uniques and Uber uniques then completely get over the game until next season.

I was theorycrafting this last night while leveling up an alt sorc so I'm not respecing so much, then here you are with the basically the exact same thing. Thanks Josh looking forward to the event with all this new power.

Same here, although I only used spears to get damage bump and stun and not rely on them to actually kill things.

I enjoy your buiilds so you got yourself another subscription. I wish this game had an armory because I hate dismantling my BL build to try a Fireball build and have to redo everything when I decide it's not as good.

Your best build yet! This is just insane. Survivability is awsome because everything is always stunned. Also works very well with the uber staff. Well done sir...well done!

Any possibility for a tier list of the builds? I was looking at trying the charged bolts build because it gives some range to a build but this build adds some range too.

I heard a few other streamers mention that its interaction with Ball Lightning is bugged, in that it does not actually increase its Area of Effect. Any thoughts on this? On blizzard it makes your blizzard area 20% larger. On BL it makes the balls 20% bigger, it's hard to notice it's effect on BL

This build is an insane boss killer. I got my first Lilith kill using it, thank you!. I do like the charged bolt build better for NM dungeon clears, feels tankier and destroys everything on the screen.

Hi, I have a question, is there a reason to have lightning storm on the bar? I mean, compared to how many this build cast automatically, could we maybe use something else on the bar? Like ice armor maybe?

I swapped the 2 8% dmg to elites on the burning instinct board for the 2 dex squares in the glyph radius. 39.6% crit damage to anything is better than 16% dmg to elites only

I got selig and andariels. Its a good combo. With thorns chest i can just sit afk in world map and things just die on me. Can survive the blood hunt without doing anything. It also seems to proc lucky hits cause the poison keeps going off. Another thing is when a mob hits you with seligs it counts as mana spent for the chain lightning enchant.

Not sure I am doing something wrong but I spec'ed it out like you outlined and observed two things: I cap out at 4 ball lightning w/o unstable currents and around 5-6 with it. Is this expected? Is the build totally dependent on tal rasha's loop? Can this build work on eternal (without blood bonuses of season 2)?

Hmm for starting sorc I think arc lash + ball lightning on skills to manually cast is is really great and fluid motion through all the enemies and bosses

Ball Lightning is already just so overpowered it's almost too much work to respec just to try it out haha, I clear through 4 player T100 NMD with level 70s who do nothing with ease already

Love the build. but i'm having issues on staying alive + doing enough damage as the build is progressing, i see how it plays when it's at your level, but i can't make a lot of ball lightning because i run out of mana... also, how do you get them to circle around you like that? mine just fly straight and go away

I have one on my sorc. It makes you near invincible but sacrifices better damage stats on neck. It's a decent trade.

hi what would you change for eternal realm ?

Three moments - Esu's Heirloom can actually give more than 30% crit chance, you can get over 200% movespeed , u wont move any faster / it wont show up on your spreadsheet, but you will gain all the crit chance bonus from over200% movespeed you have. You can test it yourself, so conduction 3/3 is well worth it all the time. Second moment - Esu's Ferocity key passive is currently bugged and works for all types of damage you do, not only fire. Third moment - you dont really need Raiment with all that permastun from spears, it does nothing to bosses, you can swap it for a normal chest with lightning damage + shock skill damage, max armor and damage reduction - this way you can get Disobedience on chest, 38% ball damage on amulet, and it will last you way better in 100 NMDs and upcoming december's uber dungeon

I agree except last part. I think conceited is better on amulet than BL. Either way the armor is far too low for upcoming content and honestly in a full party it might struggle to survive t100 so yea Raiment definitely has to go

@@D.Spring944thing is - BL damage (basically pure skill damage) is better than conceited back to back, due to 100% uptime of the first. Oh, and also it’s the very first damage that gets multiplied by everything else. Conceited is the second multiplier, skill damage is the first. That’s why pure int and skill damage are the way to go

Agree on removing raiment as well. The survivability is much nicer than the group stun and extra damage. Damage without is already OP

Tried this build out. Got the gear and what not but it seems I get up to speed slower than the last build. I'm still going to work on it but it just seems... less. Maybe it's just me

Is the enchantement ligthning spear bugged ? it says 10% chance to cast ligthning spear when crackling energy absord so 10 crack energy for 1 spear how could you get 18 lightning spear ? a lucky hit boost will drop more crackling energy, does it not synergies better than a +30% additive bonus to close ennemi ?

so this build only works if you have the mastery on ALL of your gear?

Used this build and FINALLY got UberLilith! Now I picked up and amulet that gives me more glass cannon (now at 8X = 48% damage). Running through 100 NM like mad! I wonder if you switched to Occulus you could clear them even quicker? (Still need to level some glyphs) Anyway, THANKS!

I honestly have been using lightning spear the entire time because I liked the stuns but never put points into the damage increase.

Accelerating aspect and unstable currents attack speed bonus goes over the 100% cap, you can have 162.5% attack speed with Accelerating amulet and UC up.

You dont need that much, everything over 40% attack speed doesnt affect ball lightning, because its the rate, not the damage itself. Rate cap is like 5 hits per move over the enemy, thats what you get when u reach 40%.

Are paragon boards different on different systems? I ask because im on ps5 and some of the red boxes cut off short according to the video which then leads to not having the additional bonus unlock. Sorry if that’s noobish lol.

Ditch the Glass Cannon passive on the amulet and get Conjuration Mastery. I think on average it will benefit you more in terms of DMG and also - you get to be even more tanky. Perhaps even both, if you want.

No. Glass cannon (except for tankiness) gives a 100% uptime of 18% damage bonus, to beat it you will need to have 100% uptime of at least 7 conjurations, and that is obviously not the case here. Devouring blaze is the way to go.

Yeah, you can argue for devouring blaze. But at the same time my argument for having the Conjuration Mastery is more tankiness and more burst damage as compared to Glass Cannon

It only stacks three times I can’t figure out how to get it to 4 stacks on Tal I have charged bolt instead of the balls but that shouldn’t matter?

I've found several different variations of the Ball Lightening build from several different KZread creators and tried them. Of course....there's the guy with an insane build....but you have to have every single one of his uber-rare pieces of equipment to make it work. Or the guy who assumes you're already tier 100 with all the paragon points and glyphs maxed out in order for his build to work.... But this guy's build is top notch in terms of surviveability and very decent kill times even if you're just level 60 like me...don't have all the "recommended gear"...and are actually trying to grind your way into this build. Nicely done and very much appreciated RGV!

Did this from the beginning. Cleared a tier 98 with butcher at lvl 84. survivability is very high with this build and I think it will be the meta for abatoir of zir

There is no dr in ball lighting build. You have godslayer on helm, raiment on chest, tibualts on pants and depending on your playstyle flicker step or esu's on legs. The only Dr is on tibualts will

@@marcusbattaglia5400 armor doesn't matter on ball lighting. You have heat shield and ice shield which makes you invulnerable. Then you stack cool down reduction on rings and amulet

Tried this today, pretty nice and fast build. And one problem I have is, since the mobs are dying too fast, there are not enough cracking energy on the floor to proc the spears. Max I got was a 7 stack with the blades. Still shreds, but feels a bit too squishy when too few mobs are stunned.

The problem with almost ALL of these builds, is that they are made for level 75+ because you need the uniques and stats to make it work. I found that most Ball Lightning builds will NOT work on lower levels without some sort of mana generating basic skill. Ball Lightning uses so much mana that it's easy to run out constantly. Personally, I am level 62 right now running a great ball lightning build but I have to spam fire bolt to continuously generate enough mana just to keep TWO balls going. I have had to specialize in attack speed so that my fire bolt spamming can quickly generate enough mana to keep it going.

You dont need fire ball enchantment as everytime you dmg enemy, tal rasha buff reset its duration. Just need to active flame shield

I wish I could generate enough crackling energy with this build + the frozen ball build but I can't seem to figure it out.

Why use disobedience aspect instead of juggernaut?

BL doesn't need more dps, what you should be working on is tanky bL build with 15k + armour as it will be more important for Zir

Domination is only on proc whereas the 15% is always up

I know that when I'm running, I kill things in tier 91+ nmds so quickly, that I have a hard time getting the 4th tal rasha stack. Whereas, I'm thinking that I might get better results with the domination vampiric power, since we already stun with raiment, and now will stun more with the spears.

@@zmollon I find it really dumb to run teleport when you can run Metamorphosis and have FOUR evade charges. To me, it's a waste of a slot that I can spec elsewhere. No wonder people call Sorc's a "glass canon" when so many builds are not even speccing into defensive skills... then wondering why they die. I think they will find out really quickly in the new "abattoir of sin" how quickly they fall without using defensive vampiric powers. I go full Undying, Resilience, Sanguine Brace, Metamorphosis... and Moonrise (since I need the attack speed for my build). I don't die nor worry about dying and I rarely lose health... and yet I constantly see videos of Sorc's running through content with their health falling to dangerous levels. Yet, I can run through the same content, kill things a bit slower, yet never worry about dying. I'd honestly rather take a few seconds longer and know I won't die, then truly be a glass canon and constantly fret over my health bar.

@@ADarklore If you are running Raiment's then it makes sense to run teleport. But I'm runnign Esu's Heirloom so I have crazy move speed but not 4 evade charges. Abbatoir will be a balance. I suspect many will need to adjust aspects and vampiric powers to survive but still be able to kill things.

dont really like ice blades it so slow. why not use frost orb?

The ball lightning size increase glyph doesnt work as yet.
