does anyone have a REAL beginner guide. all the guide videos assume you have played diablo before. I don't understand the skills system and the "builds" and need someone to point me in the right direction and no video is for a real beginner

My grandfather who recently passed away had been waiting for a looong time for this game. His favorite game was Diablo and between taking care of his horses and sleeping, he played Diablo. He had played the game for almost two decades (since it first came out) when he died and I remember him waiting and waiting for Diablo 3. Too bad he didnt live to play it. RIP grandpa, love you

You have to open up your skill book and swap out manually. Not only that, but a 5 or so second delay is put on the new skills you select before you can use it for the first time - so during a fight is not the time to swap.

Runes are not items to be aquired - a rune is "unlocked' automatically when you reach a pre-determined level for each rune, just like a skill is unlocked for the first time at a specific level. Then at any time you can specialize how a skill works by selecting one of the runes that have been unlocked so far for that skill. Some runes for each skill are not unlocked until much later. Hope this helps.

you can play on his account if he gives you his account information but only 1 person can be on theaccount at the tine

He is talking about the Nephalem Valor buff, which is the incentive to not switch skills repeatedly. Also the valor buff is unlocked at 60, not solely in inferno. Otherwise you can change skills freely as you wish, aside from the cooldown that occurs after the switch.

one thing you got wrong. The nephalem valor buff kicks in at lvl 60, not just inferno

Good video force but one typo the N.Buff becomes available once you hit 60, not just in Inferno.

How is the character leveling in Diablo 3? Is it like Diablo where you reach a point you cant beat and then restart with a new game plus or is it like Diablo 2 where every time you exit and restart the enemies have respawned?

If i have it pre-ordered and downloaded, can i play UK time 12.01AM if i'm from England or will i have to wait until its available everywhere?

you need a cd key or to buy the game online. the disk only instals it, your actual account is online so you must have one to play single or multiplayer.
