Haven’t played a d3 necro in awhile. Don’t like playing the most op class usually but might give it a go this time around

Much thanks Wudjo! Without u we might not have seen such a resurgence of players to D3! Ive played the game since the OG D3 launch and every other season since they started and imo its still by far the best Arpg when u only wanna invest a week or so into the game bow and then.

Sad there is no new build :'/ It's not like there are no ideas for such new builds.

I played so much D3 but never tried to get a LoD Build together.. lets say i want to play Necro this season, what do i start with? You only switch to lod if you have all ancient items or no?

Start with Trag's and level up your LoD before you switch. Waiting until you get ancients certainly helps

So, I noticed that there's the trag'ouls corroded scythe on the bones of rathma build but you dont use a curse skill (and you're using siphon blood) so isn't it kinda pointless to have it in the cube?

Inarius is the best set in my opinion for necro I’m over lvl 100 in the nephilim greater rifts on my necro

Hah! I was one of those with the previous season (30). It was a lot of fun, especially since I had missed some of the biggest D3 changes including the altar and upgraded mercenaries. Based on wudijo's assessment, I might be playing Necro again.

Well, that season theme was really cool when it came out but nowadays it's still fun but not that exciting. Since the D4 season is still far away, many people will play anyway 😉Personally i really hope for the Ethereals season theme comeback. You could find one of those while leveling and it was insane how much power they would give you.

I'm theorycrafting a Pestilence Golem Corpse Lance necro. It's probably not good, but this is the only time it works.

Is the season set for necro good for speed farming or wath build is good for speed?

That's the fun thing with Neros this season, anything kind of works. Rathmas is arguably the worst, especialy at the start since you heavily rely on cdr rolls and paragon levels. The best will be inaros and tragul, atleast for the first few days while you do lower level content. Bone spear and rathma will take over later for higher GR speeds (and yes, necros will Speed clear 140+ solo pretty early on with this theme, since they benefit the most from the cube, by far).

It will likely not happen now, but hope Bliz would just add the Alter and Vision Portals to off-season, too.

First season I'm skipping in many years, not a Necro fan, oh well

Based on the patch notes, doesn't it sound like soul shards will still be present? If the Stain of Sin got tweaks?

@@BenaresDarkness What's to stop you from playing the next day? You don't need to start right when the season officially begins, unless you're trying to be at the top of the leaderboards.

@@Lupin788 I like to play immediately after a season starts.

So both D3 and D4 moving into s4 both have Necro opness. I guess that's a good thing for some players. In D3 it's a bit stale at this point, in D4 I'll basically take anything other than Barbs being top dog at this point. The lack of class balance in that game is killing my interest in it. Especially since I generally main a Druid and the meta is barely shifting at all and I dislike the WW LS, Emperor Palpatine in a furry suit play style.

The season of the forbidden classes (Those who are not necro)

If youre into "group necro stuff" and are so open about it - expect the authorities to get involved

Cus D4 is where the money's at...

How can GOD DH still be S tier Exp farmer given how weak it is this season? Sure grift 110 speeds maybe, but 120+ speeds I don't think so

xp stand for 1-70 and yeah dh is godly there and tbh, for any t16, dh still reign suprem no question asked

@@Namo-xx1sz no it doesn't. No one cares about 1-70 and DH is not good at it anyway. T16 has nothing to do with XP. XP is paragon farming

blizzard: don't worry, diablo 2 and 4 teams are separate from diablo 3, we're not slowing down the work on diablo 3 also blizzard: no more diablo 3 patches, we literally don't care anymore. I think they borderline would be willing to shut down diablo 3 servers if it wasn't illegal... they'd have to refund us since we did "buy" the game but can't play offline.

this is a good example of the "just play whatever you want, anything works" argument being 100% dead wrong. I actually went in a pub game on NON SEASON with a jade haunt, just gr 120s having "fun"... 150 augmented gear, doing most of the damage. Somehow the tal rasha and rathma necro were dying and they actually managed to kick me DURING THE RIFT because I wasn't strong enough to carry them. You diablo 3 players are toxic as hell. No wonder maxroll, wudijo and rax prefer to play solo or at most, with their own private group of friends. You NEVER actually see them in public games.

The fact that boulder and leapquake are in the same tier proves this is trash . Boulder is lightyears better.

Why would you even need outside of season. All bonuses there are aimed to support multiple season character level up, not for long play
