I'm convinced that, contrary to how it seems to Jeong Gu-Won, god is actually rooting for him/them. By making him a demon rather than letting his soul go to hell, it gave him the opportunity to have a second chance. There's been so much foreshadowing - the dialogue about the almighty setting them up on their blind date - the scene at the police station where god is thrilled the "roulette wheel is finally spinning" and how she's betting on "an odd number" - how there were no other deals to be made when Do-hee was first in danger. She only sets the rules, the choices are down to them and she knows the odds are against them, but I think she wants the happy ending for them. I think it will end with happiness for them. He has learned humility and Do-hee will never give up on him.

The only thing I don’t like about this drama is how they’re portraying that aspect of the deity personality. So I hope you’re right.

I really hope God will give us a happy ending for Dowon after seeing everything they’ve been through.

the best part about watching on air kdramas is getting to watch the edits ella make for them after... i dont even know how to express my DEVASTATION (and love) for this edit... when she said if she's gonna be miserable anyway, she'd like to do it with him, the scream i scrumpt!! it reminds me of that one tiktok comment in response to someone going "that's gonna take 3 years" and they said "the time will pass anyway" like if it's going to happen, i'd like to do it with someone i love AND SHE IS MISERABLE BUT AT LEAST SHE WAS HOPING GU WON WOULD BE THERE BUT THEN YOU GOTTA MAKE SURE YOU HAMMER THE HURT HOME WITH THE LAST THIRTY SECONDS!! BC HE'S NOT THERE BUT THE LIGHTS IN THE TREES LOOK LIKE FIREFLIES IM DEVASTATED AKJLSKd OH and when you pulled the parallels from 1:12 to 1:32??? whew, oh my god chefs kiss - you're a master of editing angst and i'm so grateful for all your hard work and effort 🫶

This is a drama that not only needs to be seen,but understood. Yes it about the love of two people,but it’s also full of truths. If you really understand the meaning of the clocks and the cross he held in his hand. It’s means you either you either choose a clock or you choose the cross. The clocks are all contracts representing people who were given a choice to have anything they wanted handed to them ,but you must sign a contract the salesman has with your name on it. After he told you about the condition of the contract. The other choice is the cross Gu won had for 200 yrs. But there is no salesman or contract. This is a choice you have to want and ask for, it is freely given. Let see what Gu won does with the cross he was given as a human. 💖🙏🏼

I haven’t been keeping up with this series solely because I’m waiting to see if they get a happy ending. I’m not in the mood for more tears. I need my DaYS happy ending
