@@Sk-xe6es And do you not remember that they broke up for different reasons? Yongpil broke up to protect her mother and for his own mother's memories. He still loved her and believed that they would get back together which was why he held onto that hope and never moved on. While Samdal was guilt tripped and practically forced to break up with Yongpil. She tried her best to move on and go on with her life because she was truly trying to keep her word and left Yongpil forever. Yes, she was protecting her love too. Just in a different way. His father hated her and her mom and he is Yongpil's only family. Even Samdal's mom carries heavy guilt about what happened to Yongpil's mom. Although she didn't mean for the accident to happen, she was partially at fault. She knows it, everyone knows it. Can you even imagine what kind of guilt and pain Samdal was feeling while she dealt with the guilt about her mother, the difficulty in seeing his father loathe her mother and in turn her. He begged her to break up with him.

@@Sk-xe6es She gave up her friends and didn't return to her hometown for 8 years. Do you think, if she had such a easy time moving on and didn't have any feelings left for him that she would still avoid Samdalri for so many years and stay lonely in Seoul? She literally admitted that he was the reason she avoided coming home. So that she could keep her promise because she knew she wouldn't be able to control her feelings for Yongpil if she came back. So, yeah. She was protecting Yongpil and his relationship with his father by staying away. Yongpil always believed they would get back together so he never bothered to date anyone else while Samdal believed they would never get back together.. that they can never be together again so she dated other people in order to move on.

this was such a good series. one of the sweetest, warmest I have watched after a very very long time. feels like k-dramas are not the same since 2020. but this one and marry my husband filled me with hope again.

I hope when this series ends, you ll make a 10 minutes version all too well because this is just too good!!!! Ill just watch this when i miss them thank you for the edits ❤❤❤

I watched this drama like months ago and I was crying with them on everything but now this hurts way worse when u can relate to them.. in almost everything especially separating bec of family.. oh god u can’t imagine how painful it is .. or how much of pain I’ve been feeling since yesterday since he told me we are done n blocked me ..n He didn’t even give me the reason like I’m not sure what happened like i don’t want to let him go n it’s hella hard without him like he was my everything.. my only true best friend.. my safe place I go to when life is always harsh..its so painful asf to think I just lost him forever..I dunno what to do seriously.. but I’m trying to hold on our memories and I will just pray for him.. the thing is we never wanted to separate and like we even weren’t together in a relationship it just we were always there for each other n I still can’t believe things ended fast this awful way.. I dunno even why im saying all this in here.. it just ji chang wook reminded me so much of him in here cuz he was first to always ask me are you okay.. “) all the time
