Welcome to another two part review, the first is us unboxing and talking then the second later part is using the tool outside. We purchased the bare model without battery or charger, as we have a drill and the batteries/charger works with this too much like other tool brands just make sure you have XR 18V Li-Ion batteries if you're thinking about buying it to make sure everything is compatible.
The DeWalt DCS391 cordless circular saw is great for working with many different types of wood and timber, it's 18v and uses their range of Li-ion XR battery packs that are also compatible with many other power tools it's great for jobs when mains power isn't available. This particular model is 165mm, has a 24 tooth TCT blade, and can deliver up to 50 degree bevel cuts along with 55 max depth cuts too.
Along with those great features above it doesn't weight a lot, despite having an all-metal gearbox, safety features include an electric brake and lock-off switch. It's quite small so easy to store away and portable which makes it idea for both the DIY and professional user alike.
The blades are easy to change, there's a spindle lock at the top and and there's an include allen/hex key which can also be stored with the tool. We have quite a few DeWALT tools, and this was a obvious choice for us, we hope you found our review helpful thanks for watching!

Decent review 👍🏽. I’ve just spent under £700 on a 6pc Dewalt bundle with saw, multi tool, drill, sander, torch, jig saw, 3 batteries and carry cases. Hopefully be worth the money . 😅
Funny enough , originally I was looking for reviews of this tool for use on my allotment and repurposing pallets .I now have the jigsaw and the drill driver and impact drive too. Turns out creating things out of wood is very addictive .
The dust extraction port on the saw is unusable if you are left handed, that's the only design fault, apart from that the saw is great, i ripped 25m of 2in pine with a 4ah battery, a good buy for £100 at Toolstation at the moment.

I was about to buy the combo drill and batts just so I could have more batts but tbh, the drill was crap and it still was 120 pound for the set.. Instead I bought 2 diy battery kits from aliexpress and bought genuine Sony 25a cells to make up my own 5amp batteries.. I made 2 batteries that are actually far better than the other 4 I currently have that are genuine.. Ill never buy another battery again for any tool I own.. The 2 new batteries I made myself were 65 quid in total .. To top it all off, the battery kits actually came with a circuit board that has cell balancing, my original dewalts dont even have that..
