DeWALT ATOMIC DCF921 vs Mid-Range DCF891 Impact Wrench on Ford F350 lug nuts. Which is better?
Just wanted to compare those 2 great DeWalt tools. To summarize this review: I was impressed with the DCF921, which is very powerful for the compact size. The reason I got the bigger one, is because it came with 2 free 1.7 ah batteries, and when you have car sitting outside, you get 1 or 2 nuts that the smaller impact would take too long to loosen up, and too much vibration destroys your sockets or adapters (the female part grinds off a little each time). But if you are on a budget, or don't like to collect tools just for fun, you can get away to tackle most small vehicle wheel rotations with the DCF921. Great small tool that you can hang on your belt and walk around.

ATOMIC is great for easy jobs the DCF 891 is for the TOUGH STUFF TTC has it at ABOUT 600 FOOT POUNDS of Nutt BUSTING

I’ve seen the DCF891 break 900 foot pounds.
Great video. Do you have a recommendation on which one to use for brake jobs? I would imagine the 921 would be better due to its smaller size, but I wonder how it would do vs something like a rusty caliper bolt. Also am unsure of something the size of the 891 would fit in an area like that of a brake job.

Thanks. 921 most likely won't loosen up the caliper. Turn the wheel and use the 891, or breaker bar. 891 might struggle as well if those weren't loosen for decades.

I have pneumatic just as backup but breaker bar also works most of the time

Думаю то само только там кольцова система, а там шарик. Кольцо легше заменить и лучше держить ключ, не шатаеться. 922 and 921 seems identical, except 921 has hog ring retainer and 922 is detent pin, which feels less secure and probably harder to replace if gets worn out
May I know what socket extension you were using ?

Hi. No extension, just one of those longer sockets from harbor freight which I bought set in metric, and set of short ones in inches
