@@keimahneeNo he’s right it’s BS but Andersons probably getting it. They’re tryna do the thing where both rookies from one team gets it like the jets last year. We never get awards, it is what it is though I know which player I’d rather have.

@wrestlemarq1060 We don't know what we're talking about, apparently, literally have been seeing traction for Anderson, though I am surprised by that, likely because I have not heard his name mentioned enough throughout the season. So it surprised me that he was getting some fanfare, probably even more because Texans were in the playoffs.

If we are talking about the best player as a rookie , playing the most difficult position, and adjusting to the nfl and thriving, making eye opening plays and being the most consistent rookie defender it has to be witherspoon in my eyes ... will Anderson is good will Anderson didn't have to be good in as many situations as spoon did tho. He's droy in my eyes
Witherspoon is him he will thrive even more under McDonald I cannot wait to see him next season

Man that no look back of the hand pass deflection really shows how great a player he is and can be. It wasnt flashy but shows the extra effort he puts in. And the tackle on the rb for the steelers shows he CAN NOT WILL NOT take no Ls. Steelers were running through us the WHOLE game and dw was like nah you aint doin that shit to me id die before i let someone lil bro me. Then proceeded to choke slam that foo.
I appreciate that witherspoon actually tackles from the LEGS! take notes rest of seahawks defense
his instincts and effort are so impressive. imagine if riq could put forth that much effort when tackling. this duo would be INSANE. just need riq to get more physical.

I’d arguably disagree in a way. Last season Tariq woolen was hesitant to put his hands on qbs and relied more on his speed and qb baiting to make plays. It was clear this season the physicality of Witherspoon kinda rubbed off on him evident in his plethora of hands to the face penalties. We know tacking is the issue, but he’s never been really good at it even in 2022
