I made one of my friends watch Hellraiser on acid once, he wasn’t right for a while. In my defense, he was kind of a dick anyway

That cube has been chasing me for over 40 years now! God, I am tired.

I laughed my head off when I first saw this in college, to the extent that I virtually became part of the "HA, HA, HA, HA, HA" of the video. My buddy John poked fun at my giddiness by saying that Devo "were all philosophy majors in college" (which I was), adding to my ha-has. Thanks for bringing back this memory. Rest in peace, Bob and Alan.

Real punk. Amazing theme and genre played by expert musicians and artist-creators. The whole devolution idea struck me when I was travelling home from high school on a train. I looked around and declared all the working people f-ing zombies, and I haven't changed my attitude since.

Mark tells a story on the dvd commentary about this song staying a suicide just by the ridiculousness of possibly being seen in the moment. It's heartbreakingly redemptive; and portrays the point (or nub) of DEVO beautifully. I haven't seen it the same way since hearing that tidbit 20 yrs ago

Even though the surviving members of DEVO are now in their 70's, they're still great on stage. My favorite album is their most recent (and probably last) "Something for Everybody".

Among the most prophetic compositions.

When this came out it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen or heard! I was a fan for a few albums before and feel they reached their full potential and prowess with this one. It still raises my heart rate whenever I hear it! The song's energy is incredible and it's message seems to have gone over most people's heads. Those who think this is a joke just don't get it...

This was my FAVORITE song when I was bout 4 years old (1984). I recall asking my ma 2 play this over & over & over & over. I am not sure y I loved it so much, but I truly did. Memories.... ☺️

The videos for this album were made to somewhat emulate the concerts they’d be putting on at the time, so some of the visuals cross over with other songs from the album. The pirate would’ve been from the song, Speed Racer.
