At first I was thinking "Man it's been years since Devin played this.. will he be able to still belt it?" ... I was so so SO wrong to ever think that cause my god. Nothing's changed. He can still do it all.

So many bands crushed their sets this cruise.

So happy he pulled this one out. One of my SYL faves.

Devin still has the voice, SYL was known for his fucking brutal and unique vocal style, even after their spilt I still love this man's voice. Nothing has changed in his voice and hopefully it stays that way

That's my second favorite Strapping song.

Holy shit, I’d never thought he’d ever play this again! One of the must heavy, crushing riffs

recorded from a mile away and sounds better than some pro shots.... DT is always on point with his live production. and what a line up! Dirk and Wes are flawless performers.

Mike Clinkenbeard The upcoming US tour is volume 1, similar to the recent EU tour. Empath and Ki material, mostly. It’s the summer tour that would have Strapping songs, don’t think there are US dates yet.

Given what he's said publicly in regards to financing both the Empath album and Empath band/tour, him revisiting this material now to take advantage of summer metal festivals isn't too terribly surprising. Hope he's enjoying playing the material. It's great to hear it live again.

Exactly my first thought. Espacially Gene is not replacable. I was lucky enough to see Strapping Young Lad live and they were massiv back in the day.

I usually really dislike comments about "weak crowds", but this one? I feel sorry for Devin and his band.

Who dropped the ball on the lighting? Every song I've seen from this show the lighting has been 2 steps behind the music.
