Indeed. I feel trully blessed for being able to share the world with Devin as we're both alive. Taking into consideration the number of peeps who've stumbled upon this world throughout it's history, am I a lucky bastard or what? Yes I am, yes I am. Thanks Devin!!

What a beautiful thing to say.
This version of "Love" is so wicked!!! Makes it so much more terrifying and creepy!! And I just love the humor of the audience finding out this song was on an ACOUSTIC set lolol
I will never tire of seeing Devin's facial expressions when he performs.
The control he has over his voice, in both gentle and aggressive techniques, amazes me every single time

Yeah, his level of vocal control is pretty insane. And I remember him saying at the last acoustic tour that he basically self-taught.
How can anything be creepy, funny AND beautiful all at the same time??
The only acoustic performance to have both metal vocals, comedy, burps, and an incredibly deep connection to the human spirit. Also: Props to that one guy!
This one dude with just his guitar and his utterly outstanding voice casually creating an emotional rollercoaster and making me actually burst out with laughter. Devin Townsend is a real gift to mankind!
I love you Devin

If he wasn't gifted with a voice from the gods I'm 100 % sure that Devin would be doing stand up comedy. He likes to make people laugh.
Damm, Devin is what any performer should aspire to be. He really owns the room, doing crowdwork mid song... What an experience this must've been.

I was in a very downer mood today, and this just made me feel better. Whether he's singing about sad things or happy things, his music just brings comfort.
nobody mentioning that he burped in the mic at 4:14? Okay! Gotta Love Devin

That "sweep arpeggio I can never play live" at 09:16 really caught me off guard LMAO. I should use that excuse more often on my band practice I love this man's sense of humour

He's got a knack for that!
Saw him a few weeks ago. There were light-up balloons bouncing around in the pit, and he kept saying he wanted one, so someone tossed one at him in the middle of Why. He hugged it, humped it, drew Ziltoid on it, and tossed it back to the crowd. It was a good show!
This shit keeps me alive
He has one of the most expressive faces I’ve ever seen. Sometimes subtle; sometimes not so much.
An angel, a demon, a madman, a genius all in one

Yup, even back in the Strapping days Devy has always made time for the fans. We're not there for him, he's there for us. Hands down the most genuinely humble guy who's ever been on a stage.
I don't think these videos capture the fun of this tour. I was in tears and impressed simultaneously when I saw him last weekend and this isn't nearly as funny. His voice is still mindblowing

Neil Neazer it’s not unattainable. It’s hard work. It’s dedication. It’s finding obstacles to one’s creativity and then finding solutions to them. It’s consistency and it’s levity.
Devin is such a confident and inspiring performer. He's a blast to see live
here we have the man, putting out the best record of the decade and go on tour with a acoustic guitar. I just love sneaky old Devin.
Holy crap this is crazy
That's what's called solo performance, and the performer is genius!
the ultimate frontman
A truly 100 % artist, in every way 🤟🤟
This just adds another reason for me to love Devin a little bit more. If that was possible.

Watching this and so many other videos with him reminds me why this guy is one of my absolute favourite singers. He completely puts his heart and soul in to what he does and not only is he SO hilarious but he´s incredibly talented and down to earth. The times where I have been so fortunate as to see him live have been amazing. He has a way of completely spellbinding the audience from the word go having us in the palm of his hand. I bow to thee Devin Townsend xx

I enjoyed the hell out of this.
Okay, the meaning behind the song is creepy af. It went from being funny to suddenly this serious situation juxtaposed against the still humorous presentation of how Devin performed it. The realization is abrupt, dramatic, but still enrapturing. Love this!
This guys is amazing! So talented so witty and so much down to earth. Wonderful voice :-))))
Devin if you ever read this know you changed the earth for the good, this made me laugh, think, question and relax all at the same time, absolutely perfect.
Devin is the man!
Loved him since I heard Strapping Young Lad. Love the new haircut since then :P
Class act, Devin. I'd love to come to a show like this with Devin playing sometime. Really fantastic.
This man's control of his voice is just something out of this world. Not to mention the tones and colors of his voice. Well, yes, and the fact that he's a badass guitarist and songwriter. Ah, and there's also the fact he's an outstanding entertainer. Thank you for all of that, Devin!!! :)
I love this man.
Hevy Devy!!!! THE KING OF KINGS OF METAL!!!

Crazy dude. The new album is epic.

Love the crazy that is Devin. A one of a kind Canadian treasure.
If you’re reading this and you haven’t already watched the countless videos of vocal/opera coaches reacting to him for the first time, you should.
The Man is absolutely Beautiful and Brilliant.
I love this guy because he is on such a higher level of talent than most people. Devon picks you up ,takes a bit chews you a bit then spits you out. If your able to survive you come out a better person with just a little bit more than most .
I think Devin is the modern day Frank Zappa.

His voice. I've been a fan since way back in the Strapping Young Lad days and it never ceases to amaze me. It's just awe inspiring to see the range and control he has over it
Saw Devin in London earlier this year...so consistently brilliant - roll on Dec for the Empath tour!
Im new to Devin only heard maybe 1 or 2 songs and holy crap im only 2 mins in and i have no words to describe this. Ive heard of him and know that hes a funny guy too but screaming like that with an acoustic guitar in such a quiet begining of a song takes commitment and one hell of a voice.
What a great singer/songwriter.
