Ive never seen Gamboa clinch and spoil so much as he did in this fight. Against Tank and Cruz he was actually fighting back. Here he was just trying to survive.

Horrible take. He was much older and coming off of an Achilles tear, and had not fought. Of course he did so. Nice try to make Haney look like a puncher!

There are alot of ways to dominate in a fight. Haney put on a boxing Clinic here. Gamboa was basically surviving in the latter rounds, but still held his own

I was just wondering why no one commented about this. He got pieced up while not standing his ground and lost his footing, as he began to fall, he held onto Haney. Clear as day knockdown.

@@shay_3859 -- I'll tell you why? Because they want to keep the same narrative about Devin and no power. If people actually followed boxing and listened to his sparring partners they would know. Right now Devin has the momentum. They got to stop hating this kid but then again maybe not. Hater are your biggest supporters.

@@bikespeedster Yeah, for real. Once I saw his fight with Linares, I couldn't be fooled about how powerful he is. The fact that he dominated Regis so bad that he could have gotten a TKO or even a knockout by the 4th or 5th round was insane. He dazed Regis about 5-6 times in total, that is without a doubt in my top 3 boxing matches ever.

Why does every talk about devin’s power? why not talk about how he’s one of the most talented young boxers that has touched the scene. Not to mention everyone avoided loma he took loma with open arms

Beautiful performance by Haney those shots and combos were spectacular, footwork on point. Just needs to work on his power punching.

Gamboa loves Haney very much. That'why he does not miss any opportunities to hug him.

You can't always compare fights but this gives you an idea of how special Bud Crawford is. He fought Gamboa like 10 yrs ago when Gamboa was much younger and faster and more in is prime. And he Bud beat the HELL out that man, dropped him like 4 or 5 times. Tank fights him wayyy later a much older Gamboa who is a shell of himself and goes 12 rounds with Gamboa injured ! and barely stops him. Then Devin fights him and doesn't stop him. Haney did great but Bud is just a MFER !

The 2 million Devin earned for this fight is well worth it, Gamboa might not be in his element now adays but he's still greatly skilled.

Only real Haney fans that stayed with him even after this fight can be fans lmaoooo

This fight was extremely non violent, but a really good pure boxing performance from Devin Haney. Haney is really not a counterpuncher like Shakur and Tank, but a stylish pure boxer. He likes to get off his punches before the opponents and use a jab to maintain distance, and smart footwork to get in and out of range. Devin is NOT a puncher and never will be, and he seems to not be able to handle real strategic pressure. Lucky for him, Prograis is not a pressure fighter.

What did he do to TANK?? got knocked down 4 times then TKO. Haney fought effortlessly 🫡 and it appears Gamboa is way slower here. Devin needed to be perfect for 12 rounds but all TANK needed is to land a clean shot. Trademark upcut, left hook or clean 1,2 within any rounds to win. But why Tanks yet to fight Devin & Lomo?? 🥹
