In a turn of events. It seems that the Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney saga continues. Victor Conte tweeted that Devin Haney is suing Ryan Garcia. Or should I say making an appeal to the NYSAC.
Requesting that Ryan Garcia be disqualified by the NYSAC. Victor Conte states that there's precedent Ryan to be disqualified by stating that in 2016, boxer
Lucian Bute was disqualified for testing positive for Ostarine versus Badou Jack.
Badou was given the W over Lucian by the DC commission. Victor Conte states that IV usage is strictly prohibited by NYSAC. There is video evidence of Ryan using IV on camera in the dressing room before the fight in front of team Haney.
According to Michael Benson via the Boxing Scene. Devin Haney's attorney has now written an eight-page letter to the New York Commission. Asking for Ryan Garcia to be DISQUALIFIED from their fight.
Which would award Haney the victor over Ryan due to "PED use", "prohibited use of IVs" and "admitting missing weight was a tactic for an unfair advantage. The same weight that Haney agreed to accept payment for.
Ryan Garcia said via X that: I need my money back is NYSAC overrule his victory. I paid Devin Haney money for him to accept the weight and he agreed.
Haney was the one that made the proposal. So, give me my money back.

so if someone cheats and damn near kills someone illegally you wouldnt report it and file against that boxer? he couldve killed him in the ring haney trained and drained the right way Garcia cheated and created a massive endurance and strength advantage !! They're definitely hating because the young man is getting $ and highly accomplished. Everyone Haney fights get their highest paydays. I'm a boxing fan so I call it how it is... You can't say that he's a boring fighter because he comes to fight and throws punches and keeps coming all night long. Most of all these so called haters just do it for some feedback on the internet 😂 because they definitely wouldn't turn down an invite to hang with the Haney's in person.

Cotto did petition to have Margaritos license revoked and the California state athletic commission did just that... it wouldnt have happened if cottos team didnt push for a review.

DEVIN HANEY SHOULD BE MADE THE WINNER! Look at how this works in other sports. In every single event in the Olympics, if you win a Gold medal and after the event you were found to have used PEDs YOU WOULD BE STRIPPED OF THE GOLD MEDAL AND THE SILVER MEDALLIST WOULD BE ELEVATED TO GOLD MEDAL WINNER!!!! 2) In addition Ryan Garcia should lose 100% of his purse. It should be paid to Haney or at the very lesst be given to charity and 3) Ryan Garcia should face at least a 3 YEAR BAN!!! In fact if I were Team Haney I would go further. From the time Garcia stepped into the ring with over SIXTY TIMES the legal limit of Ostarine in his system (By the way there is ZERO limit in New York state) and threw the very first punch, this was NO LONGER A SPORTING EVENT. It's Haney's right to file suit against Garcia. With all of the exaggerations aside, we shall see how much it ultimately costs Garcia for his foolery. Professional Boxing has rules for a reason. The Haney's might get a piece of all of that hustle being made on their name. They might get the last laugh.
