I am surprised and disappointed, you mention the Native Americans, the bear... The president of the Sioux tribe has repeatedly requested the name to be changed to Bear Lodge, it seems like a mistake in the translation was made, the native Americans did call the site "Bear Lodge", for some reasons it was understood as “Bad God’s.”hence the name Devil's Tower.....perhaps the Wyoming university could have acknowledged this in presenting the site.

Little tails in fossil records ,but usually animals with long tails are agile and fast bears weren't in those catagories but I could be wrong

I wish to know if has records that before they build the 9 11 tower in NY, they visited this place and inspired also in this,, because is a disrespect to look to a place in nature and give to the devil, honoring him with name of it, you guys are able to imagine other thing instead look to a rocks in nature and imagine devil and name it by this name, you can more than that, Because for build 9 11 towers if they inspired in that nature monument too, they got cursed because the day of the attack their tower was like hell, and fire also killing people, because when we look to parts of nature with a positive eye and give a name to that a positive name to passes a positive message by the name of it, God can bless more and we could gain favor of nature too, maybe that is why nature is always killing people in US too, because ... Imagine parts of nature also like a person, your son, daughter, wife, someone you like, would you like to see someone coming to them and name them Devil? How would you feel if someone call someone you love of Devil? I'd you really think about it even if its a tree it's been there for allot of years and we can't use it for nothing besides take pictures of it.... Have you seen a big tree before?
