Yes though they have to find a hellportal from the inside, the same way most demons can enter real space with Yamato in hand it would be like opening a door that is if they can find one in the middle of a desert.

@@theorigainalbuleblur It won't unless some demons could even manage to slip by Dante and Vergil when they enter the portal. Nero is there with the humans so Dante and Vergil can finally launch a full assault on hell without worrying about humans if they would fail or if the demons attacked

So basically,from my viewpoint,Dante becomes stronger after absorbing the demon power(sparda sword and rebellion)..vergil becomes stronger after restoring his human side( V )....and Nero becomes stronger when he wants to protect the family he has...

From mine I believe Dante got stronger because he is more human than Demon which allowed him unlock his full demon side with severing his human side and bc Sparda and Rebellion merging probably worked as a vessel and catalyst for Dante's Sin DT Vergil gained a complete demonic power by removing his human side and upon eating the apple gained all the power he needed but upon regaining his human side(V) who became even more human than before combining wit Urizen and being Vergil again he also gained more control and power while Nero gained a power the power of purpose and with tht his full potential has been unlocked

This was actually a very nice ending. Dante and Vergil were seemingly already settled on the idea that one of them would subsequently kill the other, so it takes Nero as the reasonable 3rd generation to literally beat some sense into his father and uncle and stop them from bringing this family drama to a bitter and probably regretable end. It is especially a nice touch that Nero does so with the same ideology that Vergil follows - get as powerful as possible to protect the people you love - but without sacrificing his humanity for it.

I really like the fact that since Nero is the next generation his devil trigger is not as demonic as dante's and vergil's. its a cool detail, Nero has more human in him than demon, unlike his elders

Anyone else notice Vergil's subtle nod at 3:35? With the Nero's sudden power combined with the tone of confidence in his voice, Vergil realises that his son is not gonna back down possibly earning the former's respect even just a bit

It's so fitting that Dante's parting word to Nero is "Adios". Such a book end of their history together. Well, until Dante comes back to human world, that is.

@D. Robinson This game is supposed to mark the end of the Sons of Sparda story. The brothers may or may not be stuck in the Demon world, since they can leave together with Vergil's Yamato opening portals. However, I think for the stories sake, both Dante and Vergil will stay in the demon world slaying demons together to try and keep the human world safe from now on. Nero is now the protector of the human world, hence why Dante says "we're trusting you to take care of things on this side". Nero has awakened his devil trigger so he has the power but he also isn't alone. He has Nico helping him with new tech, and Lady and Trish are there as well. If there is a DMC 6, the story will most likely revolve around Nero and potentially Dante's kid. It is kind of implied in a conversation between Dante and Vergil that Dante may have his own kid as well. Dante says the phrase "I guess you were young once as well, hehe" which is in reference to Vergil at some point settling with someone to conceive Nero. This could point to Dante having also "settled down" with someone. Lady even mentions herself, "Can I have this office? I'm thinking I should settle down somewhere." It could be Dante settled with Lady and she needs a place for their kid to grow up. Anyways, It would be really interesting if Dante's kid grows up to be more like Vergil, just like Nero grew up to be more like Dante. It would mean in a sense that the Sons of Sparda story still lives on within their children.

So out of every time I've watched this cutscene, over and over, I've realised something that nobody else has seemed to point out. When Nero is talking to Vergil around 3:20 onwards, he says "Dantes not gonna die here, and neither are you. You got a problem with that?" and during that time the camera cuts back to Vergil, who has a plain, simple reaction, retaining his signature frown/straight face. But a subtle little detail they put in his reaction is that Vergil nods slightly, which I personally believe is, through the humanity he's gained, the respect for Nero from that sentence alone coming through. Regardless of how bitter he can be, Nero is still Vergil's son, and Vergil acknowledges that now, albeit he's very reserved about it, and hence why he doesn't speak of it to Dante.

I kind of want Dante and the two ladies to reunite eventually though. It's not really shipping. I just think they have good chemistry and as funny as it is for Dante and Vergil to fight it out in hell for a long time, I find it more depressing if they never see each other again. And while I get it's in Dante's character to be disinterested in Patty's birthday party, I do kind of feel like a final goodbye to her would have been nice because I know he does care. However, I think it's implied they'll come back eventually since Vergil did say he'd come back and fight Nero once more. On a sidenote, the idea that Dante was going to stay in Hell was something I've heard last year though, even thought it was done in DMC2.

this has me thinking, can't they just get out when they feel like it? I mean they still have yamato, and the Dante sword is supposedly Rebellion + Sparda, so they have 1 or 2 plot devices that were once used to open up portals from hell. Sure, I'm overlooking a lot of details but since DMC 2 is still canon to where Dante returned without both said devil arms... Conclusion: Dante really just didn't wanna show up to that party

I mean This takes place after 2 It literally has to considering Dante Absorbs? Fuses? Fuses with rebellion and sparda And um rebellion is in 2 so this literally has to be the most recent event in the timeline

The two will fight again and again in the underworld. Imagine how much stronger they'd be when they make their comeback. In the future.... FOR MERLIN'S PANT SAKE PLEASE MAKE THEM COME BACK IN THE NEXT DMC!!!

That Jackpot pose with Dante and Vergil was epic. The Sparda sons are back together again kicking asses in hell. I wish near the end, you can see the letters appearing saying "The End? Don't bet on it, " for a nice nod to DMC 3 also.

I love what Dante said in the end. It always ends with a Jackpot.

Anyone knows the name of the OST when Dante and Vergil smacks Nero in the face when they were about to leave?

I finished the game but didnt get the last custscene with Vergil and Dante did i have to play on higher difficulity to get it ?

Just realized Dante’s final “adios” is the same one he gives Nero when they first meet in DMC5

I think Dante and Vergil start loving each other some how, in this game which to me it's awesome. And since they will spend a lot of time settling the score in the underworld, they will return more powerful in the next game. Isn't that great?

Even though we don’t see Kyrie, I’m glad that she still plays a critical role as a moral center/anchor for Nero.

Man Nero's voice takes me back to old golden days as teenager where I would just stay up on adult swim on Saturdays and watch bleach. Every line is also something Ichigo would say. And I love it
