"I want to make games that I would like to play" This is so wrong. Cause this doesn't catch all aspects and essence of DMC series. Look at the game... Is right with WRONG art. Isn't a pleasure to play again. In this aspect, RE2 "remake" is MUCH better, cause the art fits more with the original purpose.

Omegaplib- what i like what they did in this game is they ease players in each difficulty making players feel a progression in skills and challenge, which never gets boring

This is what a real AAA game should be good job Capcom definitely will buy your next game.

They're saving that for the inevitable Special Edition. Just kidding. I hope Capcom will make Vergil a playable character and release more content via DLC every month or two to keep us players interested then after nearly a year they can bundle the base game and DLCs together and release it as DMC5 Special Edition.

Still haven't beat DMD, but i'm already looking forward to Bloody Palace, to whatever DLC comes out, maybe Dragon's Dogma 2 and DMC6 hopefully sooner than 10 years this time. Thanks for creating the best action game so far.

@@silkworm2595 I wouldn't say that, red dead 2 had a good single player but after it's done I just had no drive to pick it back up. Dmc 5 on the other hand, I beat the game a week ago and I'm still playing it

Everyone here already asking for new shit when the game isn't even a month old yet. Matt, Itsuno-san and the rest of the team -- you should all be incredibly proud of yourselves and I want everyone of you who's worked on this amazing game to take some well-needed rest and spend some time with their families and loved ones. I want a DLC as much as the next guy but I don't want the people who made this game to get burned out or start falling ill trying to meet fan demand. DMC5 is a resounding success, IMHO at least. As someone once put it -- "We've got plenty of time."

TheGuitar Person Well said. The people in the comments crying for playable Vergil and previous DMC games having a remake are pissing me off. Capcom’s worked their ass off for DMC5 and they continue to work their ass off to hand us the Bloody Palace DLC coming April 1st.

10/10 for me V is my fav character now 🤘📙🦅🐆🦍

AAA game is overrated, SSS is the new standard for Action game 8:08 They wants to make the best action game in the world and they did, although I find the story to be a bit lacking compared to DMC3 it is still not bad and everything else is great, I'm looking forward to DMC6 and Dragon Dogma 2 also 6:37 Nico looks so adorable, in the game she is kinda cute but that illustration is on another lever

I think they destroyed everything when they ignored dmc2 and changed the timeline.. Of course I will play it when I be able to

Malek Younes the story is actually decent. but yes i'm agree with the majority of people saying DMC3 story is still better overall. regardless of that, if you have played all the old tittles, even if the story isn't as good as DMC3, you will still find a lot of surprise, trust me. still tho as @Nightwolf 80555 says, it's a matter of opinion.

I can definitely see it happening, with both Dante and Vergil being trapped in the underworld. We all know what happened the last time Vergil was stuck there and Mundus is still lurking down there somewhere. With the seeds planted with DMC5, DMC6 could finally be the redemption game for Vergil. At the meantime we could have a sidestory in the human world about how they try to free Dante(and maybe even Vergil) now that Yamato(One of the main means of accessing the underworld) is with Vergil. That story could be more Trish & Lady focused to make up for the two of them being pushed to the sidelines in DMC5. We could maybe also have a scene with a pregnant Kyrie to make sure that the Sparda lineage will continue.

I wanna see a DMC game where you actually play as Sparda and it tells the story of how he defeated Mundus and his armies. Basically a prequel to ALL the games

Thank you guys for this game. I'm about half way through but this has revitalized my love for gaming. It feels like I'm playing an old school high octane video game with modern polish and graphics. Yeah, a reviewer said DMC5 is basically a PS2 game with PS4 level graphics. That honestly sums it up for a lot of Japanese games (especially the ones you mentioned): They never lost the aspects that made them a blast to play back in the day, so it's just classic goodness. Things like open world, skill trees, leveling are ubiquitous in modern games but aren't the automatic upgrades many western developer think they are.

Thank you all for all your effort and time making this game , 5 is my favourite DMC game , also one of the best action game I've played.

On top of everything in this video, there were other major improvements and QoL streamlines: Accessible to casual audiences but had depth for the fans that can rapidly switch styles and weapons (and Nero still has depth but has to be played carefully), Removal of time clear as a function of a stage's ranking, Backtracking through the first half of the game (as we did in DMC3 and DMC4) was eliminated, Many many wonderful improvements that make DMC5 an awesome game!

Dante's demon infused motorbike/chain sword is the greatest weapon of all time! Loving every second of this game especially playing as Dante and literally running over my enemies!

Capcom is really on fire nowadays..., it all began with RE7, then RE2RM and now DMC5. You should crown this awesome run with a Demon Crest remake developed in tandem with Wayforward. PLEASE!!!

at this point i beat the game from start to finish about 6 times now nad through each play through i could not skip the cutscenes. I was always excited to see the cut scenes because they were so well executed. Great job DMC Crew. GOTY
