In this tips & tricks setup guide, we will show you how to get up and running fast, so you can get the most out of your ‪@Devialet‬ Phantom. You may even want to consider adding two of these so you can experience the benefits of true stereo separation for your music, movies & TV shows! With multiple Phantoms, you could cover the whole house with music or even carry the sound of the big game or the movie you are watching into the kitchen and into other rooms of the home. We will show you how to do exactly that, plus we’ll show you how to set up just a single Phantom. It’s all done right within the Devialet app, and if you purchased a Phantom I model, we will quickly cover how to set up the remote control that comes included with each one you own. Hopefully, this will be a quick & helpful guide for those who want to use two Phantoms in place of a soundbar for a room-filling two-channel experience in the main living room!

    I’ve recently got Dione soundbar (which is amazing btw) and I am seriously considering Phantom I - and my dilemma is - would it make sense to get just one Phantom to cover 35-40m2 living room and maybe connect it with Dione ? Can I connect these two devices ? Or it’s better to go with a pair of these and have Phantoms just for music and Dione for TV (same room btw). Would appreciate your advice

    I just want (one speaker) this for my kitchen…early mornings with music to awaken my senses, so no loudness necessary however I like to hear the low frequencies as well as well as the mids and hi notes when I play my music at low volume. Is it absolutely necessary to download an App and get involved with the Wifi in my home??? Surely Bluetooth pairing with my iPhone should be enough? I do not use Apple music nor Tidal and I don’t use Spotify so I do not need these Apps. I do however, have my own music. Will the smallest version be enough for what I desire? At last I found a clearly explained review. Thank for you explanation.

    Hi, thanks for this video! I have two questions, first, I have a phantom reactor... if I purchase the phantom II, could I get the stereo pair with phantom II / phantom reactor? and the second one... my cleaning employee accidentaly dropped the reactor and it has a little bending in the metal side, which clicks each time I listen music too loud (because of the bass)... is there any place where I can bring the phantom so they can fix that? thanks a lot in advance for yout help

    Sorry, you can only pair like models. You will need to have that dropped speaker looked at. Start with the Devialet site to find your closest service center.

    Would you recommend the Dione or 2 Phantoms II 98db for tv speakers? I want an immersive sound, Atmos is nice but not necessary. Is the Dione comparable when playing music?

    How do these perform as a home theater setup compared to a sound bar or a proper surround system?

    Far better than a sound bar for most use cases if used as a pair, of course that would cost a lot more than most sound bars too. Thanks for watching

    Is it possible to pair two 108db without using any wifi connection like how you can connect to bose soundlink products or jbl products? For example , if im taking them out with me somewhere and want to use it over Bluetooth. Also, can you pair these 2 over wifi but with no internet connection? Also, can i connect it to eversolo DMP so that i can use it for my TV, turntable cd player?

    Unfortunately, its all no to everything. It needs the internet for their Spark app to pair them and the only way to get audio from a device into them is if the device has Dante or Audio over IP.

    Hi, I have Phantom Gold I and Devialet Dione, sometimes the Phantom Gold I connection with airplay is really unstable. I have checked my router app the Phantom Gold I connects through 2.4Ghz and the Dione connects through 5Ghz. Is there any way I can fix the airplay connection issue of my Phantom Gold I? Thanks :)

    Try power cycling your equipment. Also be sure you have all the latest updates. We have not experienced that in our testing so if it persists we recommend contacting Devialet.

    Two Phantoms about 6-8 feet apart, on Tree stands, pointing inward at 35 deg and you have a stereo that will rival a $25k separates system. This is how I have my set and it rendered my separates system redundant.

    Hi. I want to connect my Computer to 108db phantom 1. How do I do that? Arch? Or some other products from Devialet? Or do I need to buy a Bluetooth transmitter for my computer?

  • @AudioAdvice

    @AudioAdvice

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Chris. There are a few ways to do this and connect up Phantom I 108db to your computer. For convenience, there are three wireless audio options. So, you could connect Phantom I wirelessly to your computer with either Bluetooth, AirPlay2 or Spotify Connect. Bluetooth will work with any computer, but AirPlay2 is only available for Apple computers and iOS devices while Spotify Connect will work only with Spotify. Devialet Arch is best suited for connecting Phantoms with a turntable, so you would not need this. If you wanted to bypass wireless audio options for a hardlined connection to your computer, then you would need an external USB audio interface that would accept a digital optical input to use in between your computer and the Phantoms. We think the wireless audio options sound fantastic and are the most convenient for setting up stereo pairings. Having said that, the smaller Phantom II models all have a stereo miniplug that will allow you to connect them directly to your computer. We hope this helps and thanks for watching!

    @@AudioAdvice thanks so much for your reply. I really enjoy detail in your videos. I really need a USB connection. But don’t wanna get the phantom II reactor. But I’ve heard others say the arch is for more then phono. Isn’t the arch effectively taking the digital input and turning it into analog? If I buy from you guys do I get all the same warranties and support as though buying direct from Devialet?

  • @AudioAdvice

    @AudioAdvice

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@ChrisPereraNZ Thanks Chris. Yes, you get the same warranty buying from Audio Advice, we are an authorized Devialet dealer. The Arch is pretty cool as it is like their Expert amps where you can define how the input jacks on the back work. You can get either a phono input, line level audio input, or Coax digital input. You could get the Arch and a USB to Coax convertor and connect Coax out from there into the Arch. iFi makes a good one for about 350 called the Zen One Signature. Or there are several less expensive units that can do the same thing, although probably not quite as well. Hope this helps

    How do I turn off the speaker?

  • @AudioAdvice

    @AudioAdvice

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi Kelvis. In both Phantom I & II models, the inputs are tucked away on the back of the unit behind a cable-management compartment that is sealed off and completely covered by Devialet’s really cool custom-designed power plug which acts as a trapdoor. Right above the power plug trap door, there is a push-button that powers On or Off the Phantom, and this also illuminates to tell you the status of the unit during the initial setup. To power it Off, usually just pressing and holding the power button for about 2-3 seconds will power it off. Depending on your model, simply pressing the power button once and letting go immediately will also power it off. We hope that helps and thanks for watching!

    It is a very expensive speaker from an average consumer perspective but it is cheap for what it can deliver. I own a phantom speaker and I think the price is well justified and i have yet to find any other speaker of similar price and size to compete with it.
