There is nothing new or compelling with these headphones. Sonos says on their website that the lossless feature is supported over Bluetooth with compatible devices, I’m interested in hearing how they achieved that and which devices.
I did some research, to get lossless via Bluetooth your phone needs the Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound AptX chip. There are 3 android phones that have it as of today. Sony Xperia 1 VI, Asus zenfold 11 ultra and vivo X fold3. I don’t own any Sonos products so getting this would be just like getting any normal Bluetooth headphones. AirPods Max will at least sync with Apple TV or if you’re going just for Bluetooth headphones with no special features then the Sony XM5 is great at half the price when on sale. I don’t think these are going to sell so well in this saturated market but let’s see!

For TV & audio setup (a lot online): Stereo 70 or M1? Both would be with B&W 606 speaker (no sub). + some heos speakers in the house. I was in the market for the Stereo 70, but this M1 seems to be an amazing alternative. same pricerange as well. Thoughts?
Unfortunately, this is still an overpriced segment of the market considering most people use streaming services and don’t care about lossless audio. Dolby music I’ve found to be more of an annoyance than a feature worth using. To many gimmicks in this space. It just needs to sound good and $150-$250 will get you what you need.

How is the sound quality compared to the Sony Xms? Good soundstage and bass?
Very good. Our testing was very short so we will have to do a further analysis but from what we heard, they were very good.
WiimULtra Way better and waaaaay more affordable. of course, HEOS sucks.
HEOS has been updated and is very good now. We will be sure to compare the two when it comes out but it sounded better than the WiiM amp.

Hi, love your advice. Have you heard of the small British brand. Rothwell who make some amazing pre amps and step up Amps. They are tiny all metal boxes that are designed and built in the UK. Do you think they are any good? Or can you review them if possible.

How do you fit two x A/B class 100W channels in to a small box?? I wonder if the 'specs' are correct yet. I would guess they'd be a class D amp in that price range. I don't think the Marantz site makes any amp class claim yet.

It's all great... Until battery dies and you are left without headphones alltogether. I would expect passive mode as a must for a $500 gear
You can get a 3 hour charge in just 3 minutes of charging!
@@AudioAdvice yeah that's awesome, until it dies as in forever and you either invest in sending it to service so they exchange that battery pack or be left with a bulky-looking tiara. Sennheiser's momentum, just as one example, got that clear and works in active or passive mode (wired and no need to turn them on) and man! do they exceed it's active counterpart whistles with such an accomplished sound signature. How's that to counter programmed obsolescence?

Why even get a receiver? Except I’m seeing a few people complaining that the M1 is unreliable.
A receiver will give you access to many more channels than just the two in the M1. The M1 is only available for pre-order currently. We had no issues with reliability during our testing. Who has said that?
Everything Marantz is overpriced and I feel like a fool for buying their receiver at twice the rational price. They’re thieves.
It won't be for everyone. They put a lot of work into their products but there will always be cheaper alternatives.

Nope! Control with your phone in the app or touch sensitive buttons on unit.
What is the cable, connecting speakers, type name ? Can it be found on internet/sound equipment shops or just can be ordered from SVS?

You made it sound like this is superior machine which will save our ears from inferior Chi-Fi. Well, there is quite a few brands offering really good all-in-one boxes. Need to say that my Uniti Atom can drive even floor standing speakers with it's measly 40W of A/B amplification. Don't get me wrong, I like Marantz and still have MCR610 in guest bedroom but this video seems feels like paid promo from Marantz.
The Uniti Atom is a great piece but almost 4X the price. For the price, this sounds much better than other products in this price category. It definitely sounds better than the WiiM amp, but is $700 more. It will all come down to your budget and what you value your streamer.
I wonder how these stack up against the Klipsch RF-7 III? They probably play with more detail & clarity right? But the Klipsch could probably perform a little louder with the Horn tweeters does anyone know which way would be better for mostly movie watching but also for music occasionally…
