Unique design

This is the only active speaker I would consider “hifi” amazing Sound!

These speakers have such a nice design! Just out of curiosity what were they displaying on the table? Any chance you can share? Thanks for the video very insightful as we couldn't attend the show.

These speakers are far from perfect, but that is what makes them so good. They're really fun to listen to. You never get tired of listening to stuff on them unlike most expensive systems.

These looked very gimmicky in the unboxing video, but look to be a solid offering. Now they need to make them in black for the HT crowd.

this brand is absolutely incredible but how do you get so much devialet knowing that you can only put it in stereo?

They are using an av processors into the audio input on the devialet, it's the only way I can think it would work. I also wouldn't pay what the phantoms cost if it was purely a Bluetooth speaker with no other inputs

The standard Phantoms have wi-fi, Ethernet and optical inputs and the Phantom II also 3.5mm. They communicate between them over Ethernet/wi-fi. These are stereo and multi-room. For surround custom speakers use Ethernet inputs connected to a AV receiver that sends the correct signal to each of 5, 7 or 9 speakers. Five Phantom II with this box for 14,000 EURO. You can not upgrade or include your existing speakers. You can not take customs speakers and use them as standard Phantom speakers as the only input is Ethernet. Using wi-fi and uPnP you have lossless PCM audio from a NAS or computer. Some steaming is built as is internet radio. Devialet dropped some of the steaming services as they can not keep up with the changes in standard and software changes.

No, you have to have their processor to make that happen

Alright I think got it! JBL Synthesis AV Preamplifier but how did you route that audio to these speaker over Ethernet?

I understand that these a full range, but it still needs a subwoofer. The LFE channel has a lot of information.

Awesome styling. Clear and powerful sound. I think it’s a winner. You don’t necessarily need subs works with your existing avr/ processor.

I've heard the demo test. The sound was superb (well that comes with the price too LOL). Don't need subwoofer, each speaker already has built in small sub with big power. Put them altogether into surround sound, you'll get high quality immersive surround sound. cost about $3000/speaker

Not really! There were 11 of them and he said that there is a mix of Phantom I (max $3.9k) and Phantom II (max $1.9k) and from what I can see, only 3 in the front were Phantom I's and the rest 8 were Phantom II's. That would be $26,900 max assuming they had the top models! One could buy a decent car for this money lol
