My match with Josh Barker. Decided to try something a little different this time around.

Obviously take my opinion with a grain of salt 😅 . Do you think you would have benefited from finding usual lane abit first ? Putting in some work to the wrist and arm…attempting to transition to the press to assess the angle specific to Josh..conceding the round then using that information and fatigue from his stand point to execute the move more effectively? Or was everything just a tad overwhelming on the table strength wise.

The goal was to learn new setup IQ and I achieved that. My toproll setup got developed from many many repetitions and video reviews to see what was important and I feel like my hook setup will be similar. I just haven't given it the chance so far because my hook start is usually an unviable option. There's only one way to make it viable though, practise :)

Josh was also just too strong this day, he'd been doing PBs in the lead up so probably he'd have gotten me even if I had tried an outside option
