As KTM has stepped up the standards in OEM engine components over recent years, Wiseco went back to the R&D department to fine-tune their four-stroke KTM pistons for improved performance and longevity characteristics over KTM's OEM pistons.
We got the first-hand scoop on this process from our Engineering Manager, who explains why we went back to the drawing board for an offering we already had pistons for, what areas we saw needed improvement, and how we went about developing and testing solutions for those areas.
The final result is a range of updated pistons for KTM, Husqvarna, and GASGAS 350cc and 450cc four-stroke models, 2022 model years and earlier. More details on them here: powersports.wiseco.com/blog/u...
