RICHER TONE VS NEUTRAL TONE
Singing in your neutral position is natural of course and is easier but pushing the larynx down for sure will give you a richer tone but now you are making a bit more effort because you are singing in a mask.
This sound is not a compulsion but if that's the sound you are looking for, then go for it.
Examples of singers that do this is Anita Baker, Toni Braxton even Jermain Jackman of the voice.
It very important you don't push it down a lot. A little pinch will do the trick.

Appreciate Video clip! Sorry for butting in, I would love your opinion. Have you tried - Gonameron Voice Vicariousness (do a google search)? It is a good one off product for learning how to achieve a passable feminine voice in the next 30 Days without the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my best friend Jordan got astronomical success with it.
