Also not forgetting that Mixmaster and Scavenger (I think) have to stand on their heads! The robots acting as the legs of Abominus or Computron for instance at least get to stand upright

I have this set and it's awesome! It scales even better with the War for Cybertron series. But it has some major stability issues in combine mode.

How tall is he? He looks awesome but how stable is he for displaying if I stick him on a shelf in my living room do I need to worry about him taking a nose dive or can I stick him on the high shelf and not worry?

Well, if you put him in a 'H' pose is stable, at least mine is really stable. Never moved a bit unless you touch it.

@@ToyBaseYT Io ci sono cresciuto guardando transformers e i vari anime e cartoni degli anni 80 e 90 quindi li adoro. Avevo la versione commerciale che era una pallida parodia di quello del video. Neanche si avvicinava. Il mio modellino era proprio una squallida parodia.

I want to buy this. I’ve heard that there are knock offs of this. (a knock off of a knock off) I’m having a hard time deciding where or who to buy this from. Any advice of what to look for and how I know the seller is going to provide me with what I want? I have found that the ones sold on eBay for about the $145 range (all 6 figures with no box) seems the most legitimate so far.

The knock off of this is by NBK (this one's by Jinbao, in case you hadn't know). It's significantly cheaper, but from reviews I've watched it seems like NBK's plastic is more fragile and several transformations are simplified. An immediate giveaway of the NBK version is that the windows are tinted orange.

I had the smaller gen 1 back in 88 I belive. Die-cast metal and it also had an issue standing once put together!

This set is much bigger and more complicated than the original Generation 1 toys for that character(s)

@@OmegaViper I am pretty sure this is the generation toys set. It might be an upscaled KO, but it isn’t based off of it. It is either the actual set, or just an oversized KO
