Deux chapeaux de Madame Grès

Ойын-сауық

Madame Grès (1903-1993) was a French couturière and entrepreneur. She founded the fashion brand Madame Grès and its branches, including Parfums Grès, and is considered one of the pioneering designers of haute couture.
Martin Kamer, collector of historical dresses, presents two hats worn by Madame Grès to the Palais Galliera in Paris. Marie-Laure Gutton, Head of the Accessory Department, and Véronique Belloir, Head of the Collections Department, accept the objects.
In the early 1980s, Martin Kamer turned his passion for fashion and fashion history into a profession. He began collecting historical fashion. Over the years, this resulted in one of the world's most important private collections of fashion and accessories from the 18th to 20th centuries, the Kamer-Ruf Collection. Today, Kamer is in demand worldwide as an exhibition organiser and expert.
