Very interesting segment, it's kind of a shame that Golem City was just a short level and not an actual city-hub like Hengsha was in Human Revolution. Despite it being linear it's still very enjoyable.

there's loads of places to expore in there at least. Very able to go WAY vertical.

No wonder this reminds me of Splinter Cell Double Agent... one of the composers did the music for Double Agent and it gives me those vibes all day. I absolutely love this games music.

I think ARC territory was the only part of the game that actually had some real meat to it. It takes a while to get through it.

I got through ARC territory using the cloak augmentation. No time for firefights and taking people down. Sparing use of the cloak and timed movements, always letting it recharge if possible without using all my energy so the cell recharges.

Considering I am done with Prague's sewers I should venture back to Golem City, still a lot of stuff to make there.

For such a mediocre game, Mankind Divided really did have some great atmosphere and music. It's such a shame they had to ruin this game with all the crap they pulled in it. It could have been as good as Human Revolution, if not better had Square Enix not meddled.

@Stealthy Pelican I don't agree the story was good, at least not the main one, but that's just my take on it. Every time I replay this game, I basically try to avoid it as much as possible and do the side quests first because I get so much more satisfaction and immersion out of stuff like helping Samizdat expose Picus of their corruption, helping Eliza escape from Morgan Everett, bringing a serial killer to justice and even destroying the Neon drug operation than I do of this generic and boring plot of finding out who blew up the train station because it is such a dull and uninteresting plot. That's not to say I didn't like anything of the main plot. I greatly enjoyed breaking into the Palisade bank to help Janus hack into the Versalife vault to get the info on the Orchid because that actually felt like an espionage mission like Deus Ex is supposed to be, but other than that, the rest of it just feels so underwhelming, especially when it involved characters like Rucker. There was so much more this game could have done with him to make him stand out. But no, all we get is a five minute chat and then, poof... he's dead. -.- Same with Marchenko too. He's just way too cliched of a character. It's for that reason why I call him a poor man's Gunther Herman. He doesn't have anything that makes him stand out from Gunther. The only thing I liked about Marchenko was his weapon because it is very badass, but that's pretty much it.

@@Jonathan83X DE: MD is just more world focused instead of story focused, as supposed to be. This game was supposed to be the first instalment in live service single player model game by requirements from Square Enix, thus why it is short. HR was a complete game, while MD was pushed to be the first instalment of a possible trilogy. MD is a good game.

@@Jonathan83X I think the rest of the stories make up for the main one being cut short. People who play games and basically speedrun the main story will be disappointed. If you're looking through all the emails and breaking into random apartments and finding lore it's definitely more enjoyable.
