    The atmosphere of this game is amazing and so relaxing. The Prague hub is a gem and Michael Cann's OST matchs it perfectly. Mankind Divided is my favorite game of the last generation, I really hope Eidos Montréal will do a sequel.

    In Prague this weekend, eventually last night ended up with a pleasant soft rain and me walking the old city completely alone, while playing this at just enough volume for me to enjoy without disturbing the residents. What a beautiful experience and Prague is magnificent.

    You could say it was getting too real and the real world equivalent of, let's call them "Illuminati", had to put a stop to this creative medium to slow down the spread of truth and awakening. I believe so.

    I will be doing night and rain versions on both sides of Prague, also got Ruzicka Station almost finished. I promise I won't do any other videos from MD until I finish Prague considering it's the most requested. I also plan to do some non-music versions of areas at certain times of the day, and videos in the clubs and rave parties. But right now I want to get the bulk of the Prague street videos complete before moving on to the other parts from the game.

    I'm in the midde of a faster, new game+ replay of dxmd after a year or so, and i instantly remembered why I liked this game so much: it had this incredible atmosphere, a level of world detail that was really immersive with this amazing ost as a cherry on the top. Watching videos like this can instantly immerse me back, and bring back the feeling that I had while playing some games that I really liked, instead of having to replay those long games to get that feeling again while not having the time as an adult with obligations. Thank you for making these

    Mankind Divided had great atmosphere but at least in my opinion Human Revolution was a much better game. MD was just so short. I was stunned after beating the final boss. It was a very abrupt ending.

    @@vladimirhorowitz Yeah, I agree 100%, Human Revolution was a better game overall, boss fights excluded. Mankind Divided was very anticlimactic at the end, it had bad UI, bad 21:9 aspect ratio support, and thankfully I can't remember what else... Actually everything that wasn't related to the main story made the game great. And I had a blast infiltrating the bank in the hub area.

    @@vladimirhorowitz I would have to partially disagree. While i do think Deus ex Human revolution was the better game with the story (although it was also kind of pretentious at times and still was not that good in all honesty. Mankind devided had better atmosphere and fleshed out gameplay. Gameplay wise it did improve on almost every front compared to hr (cover system, augments, almost no boss fights, etc). I do think HR had a much more intriguing setting however, but i am guessing that also is because it is the first game most people played so perhaps it is also a lot more impressive due to it being a first time experience while MD was very much more of the same (which is a good thing i would argue) but therefore will probably be experienced as being less impressive by nature of being a sequel.

  • @vladimirhorowitz

    @@Philosopherus You might be right about gameplay improvements. I'm replaying HR right now, so when I'm done maybe I'll do another one of MD too. I think what just really put me off about MD was the length. That's one of the main things I remember about the game.

    It should be on, I recorded everything back then at 1440p, max settings besides MSAA. There will always be jaggies still sadly unless MSAA is maxed out to 8x which kills my PC and drops my frames to 24.

  • @Shyvorix

    @Shyvorix

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@GamingAmbience Deus Ex Mankind Divided uses deferred rendering so it seperates how lighting is rendered with the game world itself, so MSAA actually occurs within that pipeline, so while it does a great job dealing with jaggies, it's MONUMENTALLY taxing on GPU hardware. Even my 3090 at 1440p ultrawide struggles really badly with 8x. Once I get my hands on a 4090 or equivalent I'm gonna see how it ends up lol.
