@Samuel Andre well tbh it didn't hit the sale expectation for some reason but it was a much better game than Avengers, Jesus. It eventually hit the sale mark they were looking for just not soon enough for the executives to give a shit.

@@Horfenico To be fair, I heard from reliable sources that the reason Squeenix forced microtransaction onto the game is because Eidos Montreal (the devs) fucked up well before that and Squeenix rightfully feared not making any profit off the game. From what I heard, the developers switched engines mid-development, causing massive delays. And just generally, mistakes were made that were causing costs to rise.

I played the original DE like 15to20 times, all the DLCs and fan made stuff, i played DEHR like 7to10 times, explored all of the corners and enjoyed the game each time. DEMD was good, but not in the way i liked to him be. They probably should make a pause after successful series relaunch and put more time and work into the new game. In the end - majority of the community didnt like MD, therefore the project was once again frozen :c And yea, the avenger game was the major disappointment of the year for sure, not only it was underwhelming in every single aspect (and really weak attempt of beatin the gunloot games like Warframe or Borderlands2/3), it also put them away from the work on mistakes they made with MD.

I dont understand how it is considered half finished. It took me two weeks and at least 80 hours to get through it on stealth, not even as a completionist + DLCs + Breach. Sure, it has an open ending with a cliffhanger, but I was satisfied with length, level variety, story and game mechanics.

Thanks man. Michael Mccann's ambient music is out of this world. Amazingly futuristic stuff. I got hold of the track layers from the in-game files and made sure to remove any percussion/beats to preserve the ambient atmosphere throughout. Thanks again for listening!

THIS STORY MUST CONTINUE ASAP. Deus Ex is so relevant, especially now during these times of accelerating tech and increasing global tensions. I implore the creators, owners, and other affiliated parties of the Deus Ex franchise to PLEASE CONTINUE THIS SERIES. As many games as you guys need to get to JC Denton and his eventual ascension. And remake the JC Denton in the epic as hell HD you guys already have. Mankind Divided graphics aged so damn well, you could use the same exact engine and it would be more than good enough in my eyes. The world would owe you all big fucking time. PS: I still play both Deus Ex games with Adam Jensen to this day. Definitely in double digit playthrough counts for both, and STILL haven't found or read everything. Such depth. And the soundtrack of both games are in my top soundtracks of all fucking time. The future of our real humankind might not be set in stone, but there might be clues hidden in this lore...

imo this game is revelant in the same way that metal gear solid 4 is . Super necessary games to be made and continue thriving through their own legacy

Soundtrack was always great, and the Dystopia felt real. Deus Ex deserves it's own universe of books and games, more so than what it already has.

I haven't even played Human Revolution, but I bring up youtube, and litsen to it's score. I watched many "cutscenes" videos too. It's looks and sounds amazing! I missed out it getting for my computer AND I never bought an XBox 360 or a PS3. I'm to save up my money and buy a PS4 and Mankinkind Divided. At least I can play that one.

@@Tekkaman1994 I would suggest you get a pc or a laptop. Couldn't afford a ps4 back in the day. Got a laptop so it runs both MD and HR pretty well

I still can't believe that embracer cancelled it...

The more I replay Mankind Divided the more I love it. You have to give it time to grown on you, its environmental story telling is something else, man. In a sense, it's reminiscent to Half Life, you get more clues out of interaction with the world and observing the details in it. And the music, I enjoy it more than HR.

Never played this game due to old PC ("played" this on youtube), but I love this game. This game is about our future.

This game was so much better than Cyberpunk 2077, the stealth stuff actually works.

I want new Deus Ex. I want new Bioshock. I want new Dishonored. I want new System Shock. I want new Prey. I want new IMMERSIVE SIM games.

Deus Ex is a Masterpiece.

I work in IT and this music is the best to listen to when doing my job. I feel like i'm in the game accessing a terminal...

Most of the OST is really Blade Runner-ish, but that quote is in almost every ambient music for some reason. Guess that was the biggest inspiration for him.

Better than the majority of the 1 hour "coding mixes" on KZread. This is consistent and isn't distracting, so I can really focus. Absolutely fantastic.

While playing this game (and loving the shit out of it) I couldn't help but keep thinking "Man, this is great, but wait until Cyberpunk 2077 for a huge open world cyberpunk game that will blow this away!" Little did I know I was actually playing one of the best cyberpunk games ever lol.

Alisson debate track is so euphoric. Takes me to another world

This invokes a dreary, heavy feeling in me - something like sadness, but not quite. It feels horrible, painful, yet inspiring and motivating simultaneously. Perfect for studying.

It's why I keep replaying the game. I went from someone who never replays games to replaying this one a few times. The music really draws me in. It's something so melancholy and yet comforting about it. It's hard to explain.

still playing mankind divided and its my personal best deus ex. prague, the atmosphere, the sound, design, metal gear vibe of some sort. i don't know how to explain but it works for me. great game.

Listening in 2024. Stay focused.

MD was underrated as hell... It was my favorite DE by far, even better than the Original and HR. Still waiting for the Sequel...been like 6 years so far...maaaan

I'll leave you with this one hint: Take a closer look around inside the Versalife Vault (only accessible in _M12: The Heist_ ) you may find something Jenson was never meant to see.

Mixing the music track of Alison Databate and Interstellar was for my ears one of the most beautiful and profound things I have ever heard on KZread, applause and congratulations to the composer of this mix, he is really talented, besides, I liked a lot see the initial game screen of Deus Ex: Making Divided en bloc, and at the end the two faces of Adam Jensen compared (the duality between human Adam before the accident and bionic Adam after, the Deus Ex, according to my modest interpretation of game events) so combined as they dissolve forever. Congratulations also for choosing the other music tracks in this playlist.

I’ve been playing this game again. Always loved the music, glad I found this.

Anything Deus Ex I will pretty much throw wadded up money at as well as put on dark sunglasses and a trenchcoat and stare aimlessly into the dark, rainy night for emotional support.

Perfect for those long nights of malware development and enumeration of end point devices.

went back to this game now and i found i missed somethings in my 1st and 2nd playthrough . The amount of work and details put into this game is amazing.

Superb soundtrack! Score that rivals or even goes beyond what is produced for big budget major motion pictures.

I LOVED the soundtrack in the latest Deus Ex game. I even thought it was deeper and more meaningful than the game itself. Don't get me wrong I liked the game but it wasn't as immersive as I expected. So the soundtrack had a bigger impact than the story itself. And this ambient mix is incredibly satisfying and inspiring. 44:57 is specifically giving me eargasms and goosebumps :)

I actually just watched a docu about animals, and it was peculiar to me how a fun, upbeat music was played while tiny animals tried to eat other animals in order to survive... pragmatic, egocentric nature type shit, right? And then I put this and instantly find comfort in the music, and in the, say, metaphysical, synthetic, geometrical looking visuals, no clue what me one month ago was talking about with that dark stuff. It all depends on the hues we're using to watch the world around us. Different hues - same external stimuli - different processing - different experience.

This is more of a Blade Runner take on the cyberpunk world. So far what we could listen on 2077 will be more EDM focused. Several types of electronic music, but not really the 80's style with the synthwave that most people associate it with. Probably more techno, punk and house type of music.

@@hakesz Yeah hearing the soundtrack it doesnt sound remotely as orchestral as this one, which is more, i would say, cinematic/hollywood kind of sci-fi. Cyberpunk is a mix of that and mostly tech house, with constant beats and pretty electronic/digital sounds.

Right now, CDPR has been saying their OST is going to feature genres like punk, electronic, rock, rap, hip-hop and alternative. I think this is mainly due to the "Radio" stations that are likely to be introduced. For the overall background ambient mix, no word yet, but I'm hoping CDPR will do the right thing and make it more of akin to Deus Ex or Bladerunner.
